Crawling around for 2 minutes with nothing to do
Its so boring at the end of the game when killer decides to slug and you just get stuck crawling around unable to do anything for 2-3 minutes
They knock you down and then leave you so they can farm bloodpoints or whatever they want to do with no punishment. It completely ruins the end of the game cause you cant open exit gates or get yourself up.
They changed it so that game ends when the last survivor gets hooked to end the game faster(despite perks like deliverance where you should have a chance to unhook yourself.) but cant fix this. It might be nice if after they leave you on the ground for 2 minutes or something you can get up instead of just dying. You could be broken or something like that after but its such a waste of time to wait for 2-3 minutes when you know there is nothing you can do.
Such an easy thing to find a solution for but it just ruins the game cause all you remember from it is having to crawl around for no reason or disconnect.

An idea I just thought of, what if they removed auras of dying survivors from the killer (besides Deerstalker)? It would highly discourage slugging, or make them think twice about it. I've also asked that they remove crows from the dying state, as once you've fully recovered and/or crawled to a strategic position (i.e. hidden, near hatch, near a fellow teammate waiting to flashlight save etc.). There is absolutely no more action the dying state survivor can perform.

What if every survivor could pick themselves up? Once you get to 99% there's a difficult skill check and if you succeed you're back on your feet. Fail and you're back to 75% or something. Unbreakable would simply give faster recovery time, and tenacity would let you recover while moving. Soul Guard would only give you the endurance effect if you were hexed
To compensate for this, I think gen speeds should be slowed down. Make the games last longer and encourage more hooks and more saves. Slugging has been OP for a very long time

Slugging is fine for the most part. Maybe it you've been slugged for two minutes or so you could ######### optionally.

Yeah, removing auras is very counter intuitive. Honestly, this whole thing could be fixed by doing one of three things;
Fix killer ranking. Not the end all, be all, but a lot of killers started slugging for the 4k because there are games you can legit get displeased on 3 kills or tie on 4.
Fix end game so you don't have to slug to get 4 kills or hope for RNJesus to save you as a killer/survivor.
Make people bleed out faster. I am in a dying state. Why do I bleed for 20 minutes?
Also, fix the silent survivors on the floor. A few times, I wanted to be found to get the losing match over with, and they walked right past me.

Slugging, whether you like it or not, is a genuine tactic. It pressures the other survivors into saving the downed one(s), which stops them fixing generators. It's the best way to avoid Decisive Strike if someone charges at the killer after being unhooked. And at the end of a match, it secures kills.
Reducing the timer would result in more survivors bleeding out during the match. Letting survivors get back up would result in cheap escapes.
It's four minutes maximum, and if a killer purposely slugs you til you bleed out, it's a problem with that player, not with slugging.

Just look for unbroken pallets to smash, or go guard the basement chest if it hasn't been looted.
I like to look at the sky and then switch over to another app while I wait for the Survivors to get bored of teabagging at the exits or get scared off by the last second of the EGC.

sluggin is meta in late game cause it create more pressure also DS would pretty much lose its only counterplay....

But the game still continues even if youre the last survivor. so theres nothing you can do but crawl around on the ground for no purpose. If they pick you up you're ######### anyway, and even if you have deliverance by that point it kills you instantly on hook. so why doesnt the game just end if youcant get back up. personally i agree with what someone said about being able to pick yourself up. Maybe, only if you are the last survivor. that would stop the waste of time.

Exactly. maybe not on 99% recovery but you should be able to get up instead of bleeding out. Or on 99% recovery if it gave you that skill check and then if you ######### it up it could make you bleed out faster.

What if behavior introduced a perk or two that a survivor could use to pick themselves up off the floor. THAT would probably be a good tool.

Maybe don't crawl off into a corner where the killer can't find you if you didn't want to spend 2 minutes on the ground. You kind of did that to yourself, nobody forced you to hide. The game is already lost. What was your plan?

Best solution is make it so you can accelerate your bleedout timer by holding right click. (whatever medkit heal/toolbox repair is for console)
By default bleedout time is 4 minutes. Accelerated could either be 2x (2 minutes) or 4x (1 minute) as fast

Or you could just eat those 2-3 minutes. I'm sure it doesn't happen every game, and it is simply part of things. I hate when the last Survivor just hides and crouches all over the map and makes me hunter the Hatch and her down. I've also had games where Survivors did next to nothing, but hide and it made for a REALLY long game. It happens; it is the exception, not the rule.
I really wish people would quit trying to fix non-problems.

4 minutes isn't a small amount of time, my average match as survivor lasts 8 minutes, I could be a decent way through an entire game.

dude crawling is slow. if they killer cant find me when they are the one that downed me then they're blind. seriously its not like you can get far on your belly. This post is about killers doing it deliberately.
