Survs need love
Another chapter, and another killer chapter with 3 op killers' perks. BHVR, are you going to give something to surv this year? I don't know, a good perk, and small buff, something like that. Everybody knows that this is a killer forum, but please, listen to survs too.

Any perk that helps survivors, or any attempt to give survivors better blood point gains, proves that the devs are survivor sided. Duh.

Not sure why you seem so upset over that lol.
If you really want something that lines up with what the OP is asking for, then you have Soul Guard and Desperate Measures, two recent perks that become insanely powerful in combos. Surveillance, Billy, and Freddy also got nerfed.

I guess, BT, DH, MoM, DS, Adrenaline, FtP, IS, UB and even UE are just purely Lustful. No love there 🤔

These perks are trash. Surveillance nerfed? It was a bug. Billy nerfed? They tried, but they read these forums and at the end it was a minimum change. And freddy is pay to win.

Lol ignorant survivor mains they are treating the game as 1v1 when in reality its 16 perks vs 4 perks.

Ignorant killer thinking it's 4 perks against 16 perks. This would be true if you use B&C and only can see 1 surv and you can only use it once and you need to pass a skill check. Or if you use PGTW and you can only hit a gen when it was a surv working. Or if a survivor use spine chill and all survs see the aura, or if you use adrenaline and every surv get heal.

Based on how much outcry was there after for example pallet vacuums or facecamping were removed and other "intended" survivor/killer features I would say yes, bug/exploit fixes are perceived as buffs/nerfs.

The only buff survivors need is called "useful teammates". It is ridiculously easy to run most killers around the map even while injured but how is it going to help you when you get downed after 2 minutes realizing everyone's been holding that powerful crouch button sitting in a corner the whole time?
Been playing nothing but survivor games for a week now and I'm honestly shocked just how EASY and IMPOSSIBLE solo survivor is.
If everyone pushes gens and loops I will sometimes escape without even getting chased by the killer during the match.
If everyone is immersed I basically end up looping the killer, fixing at least 3 gens on my own and still dying afterwards.
It's honestly ridiculous how different the game is depending on your teammates.

Devs, pls, make WGLF and BBQ default powers, free 5th perk. These perks only waste perk slots and having 3 perk slots is boring. But if we dont take farming perks, its ~15k bp, lol. At lvl 50 its nothing.

Someone calculated the amount of bp u need to P3 everyone with all perks before pyramid head release I think and it was a whopping 1,5 billion.

Way to take an example. Point is, peoply cry whenever anything that benefits them gets changed so all changes, bug fixes or not are treated as buffs/nerfs.

Face it. This game has become killer-side over the last year+. It's not going to change until enough of us quit playing for them to maybe take notice. Perhaps with crossplay, they'll never notice. Oh well.

The solo swf gap is small. It might seem like you're always being the big brain hero in your solo games, but the truth is everyone's trying just as hard as you and you're not doing much better than your teammates, if at all.

I agree with you, I really hope more survivors will take a break from the game, or switch side, until this massive killer favoring stops. Someone said it in another thread “I love winning, but not when it’s shooting fish in a barrel”.

I was suggesting that survivors are in a good spot in terms of balance (as op asked for survivor buffs) although it may seem like they're not if they're not pulling their weights individually.
That's the only point I was making. I didn't say anything about SWF. I suppose you jumped the gun as I said "solo survivor" even though that part was without any context making it a trivial remark.

But... new killer's perks aren't OP at all. One of them is situationally-good, one of them needs other perks to be actually useful, and the last one is blatantly bad against good survivors. Two of the new survivor's perks are pretty good too, I can see myself using those in some builds and having a lot of benefit out of them. New killer himself isn't super-good too. So what are you complaining about exactly? Soul Guard and For the People from previous Chapters are pretty strong perks, when used right. While all 6 perks of previous two killers are either merely ok or just bad and literally useless.

I feel like a lot of people easily forget the changes in favor of their main side when the devs change something in favor for the other.
What does a "killer chapter" mean anyways... Yes this chapter, like any other introduced a new killer... That's the whole point of the chapters. The killer isn't even that good so yeh...
A lot of people are overexaggerating the killer perks. 2 of them are Hex perks so that already raises a red flag. One of the Hex perks has a cooldown and good survivors will hardly be affected by it. The other Hex perk is quite nice but it's still a Hex and thus a risk. The last perk is alright but nothing amazing really. Any survivor that realizes they got this perk will just wait until the killer is gone before they touch it.
A mid chapter ago they nerfed Billy. Doesn't that fall under "something for survivors"?

It's wild that people complain about the current "meta" perks for survivors but are also so opposed to survivors getting new perks that are actually good and usable.
Why do you think the meta isn't changing????
People keep hyping Soul Guard as the best survivor perk survivors got in the last year (it's trash outside of a SWF game with coordination) Inner Strength and For the People are much better. Hell Repressed Alliance is a much better perk playing solo.
Everyone should want new strong perk introduced on both sides. Killers actually got perks this chapter than can become meta and replace current meta perks.
Survivors got ######### and these perks will literally never be meta and will barely get any use so you're just going to see the same things you've seen for years.

The problem is that meta perks are too good. They're so good that the majority of survivors just won't deviate from them unless it's out of boredom (meme builds).The meta stays the same because there's literally no good reason to not use them. New survivor perks would have to blow the old ones out of the water.

That may be true for some but not for everyone. My main build is We'll Make It, Borrowed Time, Inner Strength, and then a random 4th perk. Typically For the People but sometimes I'll switch it out for Lithe or Quick and Quiet.
I don't use DS. I don't use Dead Hard. I don't use Unbreakable. Never have used any of those outside of getting adepts.
Perks just have to be good for me to use. They don't have to be broken but they need to not be trash

3 op killer perks? blood favor is countered by holding W (its also a hex).
dragons grip can be countered by just... playing smart and not tapping the gen/playing stealthily- it also has a 60 seconds cooldown
hex: undying is the only good one, but its only good when paired with 2 other perks (haunted grounds and ruin) but can easily be countered by coordination/a map (though i can see this being annoying for solo survivors)

If i look at the perks the only good perk is the totem guard perk for killers. Everything else is hot garbage, as expected honestly. Viable perks are overrated.

I disagree. If the new survivor's perks will stay the same, survivors will be able to heal with self-care at up to 139% speed. The old 12s healing will be back. :D
MATH>> 18 : ( 0,5 + 0,56 + 0,33 ) = 12,9s
Numbers explained in spoiler:
"18" are 18 default seconds to heal.
The rest numbers mean 1 full unit is equal to 100%. 0,5 mean 50% of SC speed, 0,56 is 56% Desperate Measures max boost and 0,33 is 33% of Botany boost.
If we take the worst (brown) med-kit without add-ons to it, the 50% SC penalty is removed (medkit make it 100%) and we get 9,5s healing. :D
Finally, if we take the best self heal med-kit (Emergency Med-kit), it will be 50% faster and we will get 7,5s healing.
MATH>> 18 : ( 1,5 + 0,56 + 0,33 ) = 7,5s
And, if someone feel super competitive and they woul use only speed add-ons to have 1 but ultra fast heal, it can be 30% faster.
MATH>> 18 : ( 1,5 + 0,56 + 0,33 + 0,3) = 6,7s
Im actually wrong. If someone take both SC and Botany, they will get more than 1 heal, because both
add-onsperks increase items efficiency by 53%. :DIf survivor decide to take only 1 speed addon and the 2nd add-on for extra 1 full heal, it will be 2 heals at 7,1s.
