The game crashed and now I am locked out of matchmaking for 15 minutes!

in Bug Reporting

Literally just started a game as a killer and then then the sound went jittery and after a few moments the game restarted. I am now locked out of matchmaking for 15 minutes! This is unfair.


Platform: XBox

Description of issue: As above

Steps to reproduce: It happens randomly

How often does this occur: It's happened a few times before but not all the time thank goodness.

    Same thing just happened to me now I have to wait 15 minutes to play. I literally just loaded up my game and first match I tried to play today crashed now I have to wait 15 minutes lmao makes me not wanna even try again to play

    They introduced it in the last update, and I get why because it encourages people not to rage quit but it's beyond annoying if your internet drops or the game crashes and you get penalised for something that's out of your control. Hope they sort this one out!

    Just happend to me for the 3rd time. 2 on my end one on the killers. killer was just running into a wall. the other two times every person got bp so it wasn't from quiting. PS4 happens multiple times since this patch. and now im locked out for 1/2 hour.

    I hope they get rid of this feature until they can fix and optimize their broken ass game.

    Just happend again on ps4, was on killer looking for survivors and i just froze then crashed. now i have a time penalty again. it's ridiculous that i cant even play the damn game. turn off the damn penalty.

    Theres absolutely a bug on xbox thats been happening ever since macmillians estate rework. The game will crash on xbox 5 seconds after loading inti a trial and give me a 5 minute penalty ban. They APPARENTLY fixed this issue on series x but not xbox one. Hopefully they figure their crap out and fix it on xbox one.

    To be fair I didn't get time to notice which map had just loaded, it may have been MacMillan's estate every time. I mentioned this in another post on your comment but I haven't had a crash for a number of days now and I believe that's because I've been restarting my console every few hours.

    Or.... it may be because they've just updated the game, however I've been having this issue before and after other updates.
