Any means necessary and breakable walls
Should any means necessary perk let survivors break breakable walls? Just a fun little thought.

Hmm maybe, it sounds fun and might be a good idea, plus it would make the perk more useful when the new chapter comes out.

What benefit for the survivor would there be if they could break the wall? Also it has a lengthy cooldown. It would be wasted to use it for breakable walls.
To buff it i would say give it the ability to see the auras of dropped unbroken pallets.

You could easily open up loops on the new badham.

Exactly what I was thinking!

Not just on new Badham, but also that one room on Dead Dawg with the window, and easier access to the rubble ramp on Midwich. I like this idea in theory, but it would be really easy to grief with by opening the walls that make tiles/windows weaker.

Id rather not have that. That'd make dead dawg have an actual infinite upstairs and would open up the gate loop on new badham.
Sounds like a cool idea, but I would say it's too strong in execution on certain maps.

I want to see a survivor build a wall in less than 5 seconds

The newly added wall of the garage entrance to the downstairs of the ranch style house on the Badham update.
It would be beneficial for survivors to be able to break that particular wall and possibly others that could be added which cut off decent loops.
Hawkins would become like a prison if they left any potentially newly added breakables solely up to the killer to remove.
jus imo

And make the killers pay for it!

No. Half of breakable walls cover loop-killing doorways, the other half loop-buffing doorways that turn the area into a borderline infinite.

I'm against this idea. Breakable walls are for killer to reduce or extend loops, as they want. It would be too abusive for survivors to break walls.
From a survivor main.

Really? Do you think any surv will use a perk to break a wall? Another trash perk?

My thoughts exactly. Forcing the killer to kick walls is more to the survivors advantage. Why would you want to break a wall that makes a loop super hard for the killer. So why not make it able to somehow block up a wall the killer has kicked? Its more in line with the current use of the perk, or maybe that might be too strong?

I don't understand your comment, I'm against letting survivors being able to break walls.. so..
I think it could be something. Repairing a breakable wall. I'm against it too but I could see it more than survivors breaking breakable walls.
But I think survivors, with this kind of perk, could repair one breakable wall per games, only one, or it could be too strong.

On the new Springwood they've nerfed a lot of the disgustingly strong builds (such as every building on Springwood) by giving them breakable walls that close off some entrances and paths. If survivors could break them it would basically bring them back to the super strong position they're in at the moment.

It's clearly a survivor sided comment, we can repair 2 or 3 Gens in the first chase, maybe can we let killers have more chances in loops to reduce chases?

Yeah I definitely don't want survivors breaking or repairing walls. 1 survivor putting time into changing the state of pallet walls isn't a lot of lost time for the survivors as a whole, but it's a severe detriment to the killer who has to waste time breaking walls just to make the loops bearable, or if those walls aren't there then the house of pain gets to keep its name. It's definitely something that should stay in the killer's hands.

It waste killer time to break walls but I think breakable walls is a very strong mechanic. For example in Silent Hill, if you don't break the walls it's a survivor sided map, if you break the walls it's a killer sided map. But the real question is when should the killer breaks the walls?
Bad survivors will repair the first generator they saw and the killer will chase them very quickly and breaks walls during chases. But good survivors will wait a first killer's patrol to start the Gens, then the killer should just walk around the map and use the first minute of the match to break the walls as he wants the loops to be.
Corrupt intervention is very good to take the time to break some walls you don't want to break during a chase.
In silent hill, when I play killer I know 3 walls I don't want to break during a chase to waste time, and I do it very quickly pretending to patrol Gens. Same in the saloon, the first thing I do is breaking the wall upstair near the window.

There are a few..
You could open up the dead end room on Dead Dawg Saloon.
You could open up the ramp in the bathroom leading to the 2nd floor on Midwich.
Didn't play the PTB yet but im sure there are more zones in there as well.

Badham has a wall which when opened gives access to a good window loop.

Id be ok with this idea survivors be able to open places.
