Why don't Killers have SWF compensation yet?
There are a half dozen perks that SWF players get for free. Kindred, Bond, Empathy, the thing that lets you see traps, Object of Obsession, Alert, I'm probably forgetting a few, but SWF players have about 8-10 perk slots available to them given the situation.
The devs can't remove SWF because they know their playerbase would take a huge hit - people just won't play if they can't play with their friends. People like to play video games with their friends, it's pretty normal. And there's no way they can stop people from using a totally separate application like Discord to voice chat.
This isn't just for killers though - this is in Survivor's best interests too. Don't believe me? This is just an arms race between each side; BHVR will be forced to develop more powerful Killers, more oppressive Killer perks to counter it. Survivors hate Pop right now; imagine how bad the new Killer's perks will be a year from now. And I'm sure you don't all want to be running BT, Unbreakable, DS, and Iron Will every match, right? Wouldn't it be nice if we stepped down from the doomsday clock of Survivor and Killer perks constantly trying to out-do one another and just ran perks we thought were fun?
Console players have a lot harder time forming parties with each other and as a result, there are a lot less SWF console players. Ever since cross-play has come out playing DBD has been like a fresh new game; when I get looped because the console Survivor is better than me, it feels so much better than getting my traps instantly disarmed because their whole PC team is calling out my position at all times. For once, thanks to cross-play, DBD actually feels fair.
Survivors can pretend that having ten perk slots (each) is fair, but it's not. And the more unfair you play, the more unfair the killers have to play back. The game was clearly designed to not have team-wide voice chat. Why people think it's okay and that you should just "adapt" is beyond me.
Anyway, rant over. I'm going to go Insidious face-camp a basement as Leatherface to make up for it. Don't like it? Hey, it's totally allowed by the game, right? Just adapt to it, right? Do you see how this cycle just continues itself?

I normally wouldn't agree with this, but I just got clowned on by a 3-man SWF with OoO who were all 6-7 ranks above me so yeah. I would love it if something could be done about this.

What makes you say that consoles have a hard time forming parties? Most the console players I've gone against are obvious SWF parties.

I'm pretty sure you have to be friends with someone on PS4 to party with them right? It's a lot harder than just jumping into a DBD discord with a few other people.

What these scumbags do is they group themselves with a rank 20 duplicate account so they can troll lower ranks to the detriment of the health, well being and future of their own game (because they aren't so bright)

Survivor have keys for mori and spirit is not as strong as most people believe.

Sadly this game is balanced around solo que this is how its been for along time and by the looks of it will continue to remain this way.

Spirit has no counterplay, and you can't see a mori so you can't bring a key to prepare.

Keys are as BS as mori are and Spirit has nothing to do with the subject. Also not my ######### problem if the only thing you do is run against her. Learn to stealth.

I would gives moris per keys
I would avoid tunnel and camping per balance SWF.
But devs doesnt have the balls to make a PTB with the tons of ideas given.

If they gave a compensation, they would admit that swf is a problem, while at the moment they ignore it.
Anyway, for some players a bp compensation would be enough, but a lot of players would rather play a fair game instead, and the pressure to make that possible would build up if they already admitted that swf is a problem.

double blood points should be the minimum killers get by going against 2 to 4 man SWF.

Here's what I'd like to see implemented.
- Lobby Indicator for SWFs. Who's with who, and everything of the sort.
- Add a % BP bonus to Killer (and solo survivors) for playing against/with SWFs.
- The Bonus scales with the amount of SWFs in the lobby.
- 2 SWFs and 2 Solos = 25% BP bonus to Killer and 50% to either Solo survivor.
- 2 groups of 2 SWFs = 50% BP bonus to Killer.
- 3 SWFs and 1 Solo = 75% BP bonus to Killer and 100% to the Solo survivor.
- 4 SWFs = 100% BP bonus to Killer.
That said. There will be dodging, in the beginning. No one wants to dodge lobby over and over again, so the dodging will only be noticable for 1-2 weeks, maybe 3-4 at the utter most, before Killers just start playing.. normally.

For a 100% bonus BP I'll take the sweaty swf; I'm gonna get a good 20-25k base BP.

Pretty much what I mean. People wouldn't be as afraid of SWFs if they got a fat stack of BP for the suffering.

If I could switch to legion to get even more BP I'd like it even more. But overall I'd like the game to be less grindy so I don't have to play 1k+ hours to unlock all perk on every killer and survivor.

It is an interesting idea. The main reason fighting SWF is so painful, particularly as your Rank gets better, is that it is so hard just to maintain. It gets easier and easier to lose a Pip. If the requirements to maintain and earn Pips went down for each additional SWF, i.e. they enter the Lobby as a Group, I suspect that would go a long way to cutting the reservations. Combine this with giving the Killer a 5th Perk, and you might have a solution worth trying.

Lobbies definitely need to be different. I've been playing a lot of killer since cross play because wait times are so low.
Generally I've always played more survivor but like to play killer also, currently in red ranks. I'm basically not gonna play killer for a while until I de-rank. Its a completely different game playing against SWF, it's just too frustrating to play against, I just wanna farm points and chill but u can barely get kills against a good SWF squad and if I do win its just so unrewarding its not worth the stress.

I think that since there are offerings to go to specific maps, and upcoming offerings to cancel those maps, would be nice to have a hidden offering that counters mori, like the animations starts playing but you get away and can't be mori'd the rest of the game.

Everyone overestimates how powerful Spirit is. The only reason she’s annoying to verse is because majority of them run Sloppy/Stridor to make playing Spirit 10x easier to play since she doesn’t have to guess where survivors are. Most of the Spirits I’ve versed run this build and only phase when someone’s injured because they’re too afraid they’ll guess wrong.

She has no counterplay. You are guessing in a killer sided guess making her unbalanced.

She does have counter play when she stands still at a pallet don’t just stand there or walk into her. Run away, don’t just run in a straight line zig zag and double back to throw her off. Use windows to your advantage. She can be hard to go against if they’re good but I versed plenty of survivors that have thrown me off. She has to guess where you are too it’s not like she knows exactly where you are 100% of the time (Unless she’s running Stridor of course)

I'll 100% be fine with this just to correct the killers who seem to think I'm 100% in a 4 man SWF no matter what if I coordinate with my teammates at all using Bond. "HOW ARE YOU COMMUNICATING!?!?!?!" they scream to themselves while spamming SWF in post game no matter what I say when they get 0 kills and maybe 3 hooks...
Plus no one "should" care about depipping if it doesn't account for matchmaking now and going to be completely removed in the future anyway (at least what they're implying)... Especially if you're effectively getting double the bloodpoints by going against the sweatiest of 4mans - might even see killers give up less or straight DC if anything (hah who am I kidding...)

Trust me I know how annoying it can be when versing a 4 man SWF with BT and DS or Unbreakable and DS that abuse it in every way possible, I play more killer than survivor. I’m not defending survivors, they have strong perks too that can be difficult to deal with. I’m just saying majority of Spirits run Sloppy/Stridor which makes a decent killer even more powerful than she needs to be.
I‘ve played both sides and know how easy it is to use Stridor on Spirit and how annoying it is to verse. You don’t need Stridor on Spirit to do well, if you pay enough attention to things like grass moving, footsteps etc you’ll do just fine.
Yes even though survivors run strong meta perks and play in a SWF I still like to play fairly and not run perks that enhance a killers ability so much that it takes little to no skill to use.

Its sidetracked due to whataboutism. We're talking about X but since Z and Y are also problematic in a way, it just makes its way into the post. Happens in every single post on this forum and it sucks.
