I really hope someone with juice in bhvr becomes aware of what is going on here. Maybe like a Comunity manager or something 😉

They made a single warning and 1 person between a dozen on topic comments randomly decided to bump when not necessary which caused it to be closed. The off topic bumping was also an extremely small percentage of the 1k+ comment post.

They issued one warning, not multiple. One person bumped the thread, was warned not to do it by others, and the post was immediately closed. The vast majority of that post was legit discussion and was overall very civil.

I remeber when they first added the new animation for dead hard. I didn't see it for 3 months despite using the perk because the game would hitch when you would use it and the fps was so low as killer that it was so choppy that it just looked like they phased across the floor.
Survivor is almost OK outside of status effects freezing the game but killer is just painful nowadays.

Yes, people bumped a thread about an actual issue with the game that people wanted a response on.
Guess what? Several of those bumps sat on the thread for days, and it remained up. A mod even commented on it directly after those bumps.
Deleting it because of the bumps was an excuse.

I have 27 fps on PC. The PTB drops that to 13 fps on Badham and Yamaoka. It's not fun, and it feels like the devs are just plowing ahead without heeding the problems some customers have (off topic, but I don't even like the graphics changes. I think they're unsuited for the game atmosphere).

MandyTalk sent out only ONE warning, and then someone else who didn't see the warning did a bump and MandyTalk took the chance(probably watching the thread every minute after that warning, to wait for someone to do it), being super sensitive after ONE guy put one more bump and called it "Causing drama" which is a joke.

Yes it is and devs didn't even respond. Why? Who knows. But in my opinion it is ridiculous paying a 40euro game and having the framerate of a ps2 game. And oh boy let's not talk about the switch version... If you can just get a new pc man...

From Twitter. Continue to be updated doesn't necessarily mean fixing fps on ps4/Xbox one/switch, probably just the regular patches. Be nice if they would say if they are going to bother with optimization for those consoles or not because next gen.

Yay! I only need to pay 550-600 EUR/USD to play DBD with better graphics! What an awesome news! I always have that kind of money to spend to non-essential things instead of health care, food, electricity, bills and mortage etc. Thank you BHVR!

the whole reason why they won't casue there is one small *cough cough* mabye not so small the issue is that the game is being run on blueprints which is a visual type of code. now blueprints has everything connected to everything. so the game isn't even in a stable code such as C++ which is a primary programmer language now of days. now I think by this point it would take too long for them to "remake" the game in c++ not hard just a long time with all of the characters and all of everything. and they should have definitely switched to c++ when there wasn't as much stuff for the game so every platform. now I know this might be hard for you but I would recommend switching games if you are having bad issues casue the devs do not care and wont do anything sadly I hope I am wrong and they can mabye get extra help putting the game fully into c++ so consoles could run the game better so just play the game to meme around I'd suggest overwatch or another horror game if it's that bad for you best of like .also this is the video I got my information from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQCNGg19YIU

Who needs all that when you can spend $500+ to play this game with better fps instead of having them fix the issues on the console everyone already owns? I mean, it's not like lack of funds is why console doesn't just buy a PC to play it with better fps.

At this point I don't expect anything from them anymore... 1 month with a bizarre hill bug without a hotfix... Why would they fix console performance which is way harder to do?!

No, it means that the bumps were a small part of a very long thread asking a serious question that still has no real answer.
If the relatively few bumps were a problem they could have said so from Page 7 or 14, not issued one warning 30-ish Pages in and then closed it after the first bump after that.
Bumps aren't cool, but it wasn't a problem with the mods at first, and, IMO, it didn't take away from the 30+ pages of questions, complaints, and video proof of console issues.

At least they are not milking you for the game again, that was the only reasonable thing they could do if some of you guys upgrade, ######### paying for the game again.

Its something that definitely needs to be addressed asap. Frame drops whenever a perk kicks in, when bloodlust happens, when a survivor is right in front of me, when playing nurse, when in the forest maps, it's all so frustrating

We are STILL waiting for a response on if they are going to put ANY effort into fixing the FPS issues we have listed. They were listed on that post that was "passed on to the team." All we have wanted is an actual answer to if they will be fixed on current consoles. Saying they will continue to update current console is extremely vague, like the "we're looking into it" responses we've received. Updates can be a variety of things not related to fixing fps. Just a straightforward answer of "yes, we are fixing fps for current console players and expect a fix in x time" or "no, we will not be fixing fps for current console since we are focusing on next gen."

But what we don't know is what the base game for next gen console even includes. They probably only give the base game for free and milk us again for all the licenced dlcs.

Coward devs deleted the mega thread demanding they make their game playable. I just had a match as Demo where every time I charged a shred, the game turned into a slideshow. Fix it. This is the most basic of demands. Make your game playable. Can't believe we have to beg for this.

So, with a pandemic still going on, and at least here in the U.S. (the largest gaming market alongside China) with unemployment claims rising yet again, they are banking on the player base having the disposable income for the new consoles? At the same time many are struggling to pay rent/mortgage, food, and other bills? And at Xmas time with likely children and loved ones to get something for on limited funds?
Talk about a disconnect from reality.

I'm from Brazil, and it will take an year or two for the new consoles to be remotely affordable here. Thus, I'm really hoping the new graphics update date actually fix the performance on current gens.

Yes its one of the main issues.
As well as dieing in struggle phase if someone else gets hooked and is on death hook.
The killer is getting 2 kills for the price of one.
Along with blood lust kicking in.
The list goes on and on and on...
Please fix.
Edit : running for a fast vault on a window and getting hit with sloppy before you make it to the window will freeze your frames and cause you to miss the fast vault and get hit again.

Does anybody from the dbd team even play on a console?

I feel like they dont see it in front of there face so its like it's not even a problem.
Then again i remember mandytalks saying she was colorblind and they dont even have colorblind setting for dbd which is insane.
The issue is always brought up.

Yeah, on the original post that was closed many of the issues were listed out with specifics. Like with killers if you wear a Blight cosmetic frames drop so it's worrisome having a killer come in with standard cosmetic being a Blight cosmetic.
We just want a straightforward response of "we are working on a fix for current console FPS, we plan to release around x date" or "we don't plan to fix current console FPS issues because we are focusing on next gen." Instead we get vague "it's being looked at" or "current console will still be updated" that doesn't really confirm that they will ever fix the FPS issues.

Maybe they're just incapable. They can't figure out how to fix the ban exploit, so I'm sure there's plenty they can't do.
