1. He still can easily accidentally bounce into objects he did not mean to. The collision may have been changed but he is so fast his power becomes unusable in some areas, but you also shouldn't nerf the speed so?

2. He needs to have a better turning range in his lethal rush lunge. You have almost no control over it and it doesn't even insta down survivors + you have to bump something first. It's not good design imo.

3. The common add on that makes you face a survivor after a rush? It's too good for a common, but in reality it shouldn't even be an add on. If that was base kit it wouldn't even be broken and allow you to run something else.

I do not think people need to "master" this killer. I think experienced killer players and experienced survivor players can already see from the start that he is not very well designed. He's fun, I suppose. Travelling the map at your fingertip is nice but he completely lacks any lethality with it.

Agree with your points. To add on: I wish they made Blight tall instead of average height. He's clunky enough without being able to see over most objects.

Overall, seems to be about Legion power level. Maybe even weaker depending on the map.

Actually he cannot bounce off obstacles he wanted to bounce on reliably. Sometimes he just slides away.

Yeah i noticed it too but i think its cause the angle on impact is too low (it seems if the angle is too low bumping on fences becomes unreliable so you just slide on the fence with no bumping).

Well one of your points are subjective: "Why put the effort of such a high skill for low reward?"

Others might master him just because they like the character. They know his power isn't head over heels to get, but some probably just like the character as is. A different majority might not even care for his design (power wise), and just like him because it's a new killer joining the roster.

I was facing against a blight yesterday with my friends in a public match in azarovs and I saw the guy ping ponging everywhere to hit me, and it was funny as hell! But yes I do agree that his lethal rush turn is too restrictive. There where times where I could've hit someone but when I end up trying to follow them as best as I can in lethal rush, I end up sidestepping by them like someone trying get their seat from in a movie theatre. No, lethality shouldn't require SO much restriction for just a hit. But at the same time we can't have a lot LESS restriction when turning because that could be easily mastered/gotten the hang off. (Though I may add a personal experience with him that it feels pretty good to get a hit or at least a down with his power on the first day of release since he's a new killer. It feels nice but at the same time without the add-ons you don't get rewarded for having to ping pong your way just to hit someone.)

You'll come to find that this dude is actually pretty good (from what ive seen), id put him probably just below huntress due to his mobility. Once it comes to that level of viability i'm personally fine with quite high skill caps.

Also if you've been on the forums recently you'll know the sudden overflow of "unfun" killer threads (unfun in quotations because almost all of them are survivors riding the bandwagon to get a killer nerfed) including deathslinger, PH and Spirit. So the chances of getting a power even remotely similar to them in terms of design and strength is unlikely.

I love the Blight. At first I was skeptical but he's a cool idea for sure and sounds very fun to play and play against, not that I've encountered him or played him though.

It was a bit underwhelming that for a whole content update we got an OK killer. Reminds me of the Clown when he debuted ngl. :/

His mobility is probably the best in the game. I don't think they could make his lethal rush easier to hit and not make him completely broken. There has to be a trade off for basically traveling the entirety of the map at will. I feel like he is the most fun killer to play as and against they have ever made.

The thing is, I've been getting pretty consistent 4k's with him, something I cannot do with any other killer. If he's so damn weak, if there's so little reason to learn him, then why am I murdering so much? It's not because I'm going against bad survivors - I get maybe 2 or 3 lethal rush hits a trial. They know how to dodge.

He's just a nurse that doesn't pass through walls, can't attack on first blink, and has slightly more control during blinks.

And my friends wonder why I haven't played DbD in a while.

It's quite fun to play pinball while all your generators pop.

I think his Lethal Rush is a bit like Demo's Shred or Ghostface's Stalk in terms of usability, maybe a bit more consistent. Some killer players want to use those everytime they see a survivor, but they're only meant for specific situations, so don't force it. It's still a good tool for map traversal and after some time, players will know when to use it effectively.

The collision is never gonna be perfect, because this games collision on objects and hitboxes are atrocious and probably always will be. Can't do much about that

I don't agree with a lunge change. If he could properly lunge out of his power he would be so incredibly busted and easy to use. It'll take a long time before people get consistent with the rush mechanic but it's definitely not weak. The hitbox on the lunge is also very generous anyway. Can't count the amount of times I've actually hit someone who's not even on my screen.

I haven't used that add-on but from the description it'd make him a bit too easy for me to really care about playing him anymore. I don't think it's necessary on pc because you already have good camera control and I currently enjoy the challenge of downing people with the power but it sounds like a must-have on console to even make him playable on there which sucks. Maybe it should become base kit in the console version only? Or something similar to make it better for console players? Some of his add-ons absolutely need nerfs though. The green aura reading add-on is so broken idk why they thought it was a good idea to change the rarity of it from red to green.

On the first point, the reverse is also true. Sometimes I try to bounce off a wall and then I just slide on it.

Example that happened to me: https://gfycat.com/hideouspolishedalpineroadguidetigerbeetle
