New Survivor Perk idea Developers Should Seriously Consider

Because of a lot of exhaustion killer add-ons being used lately and an existing perk that cancels those perks for survivors, considering the new survivor perks aren't that good also, I came up with this idea:

Perk: *Urge of Survival*

The survivor becomes immune to any killer add on or perk that causes the exhausted status effect on the survivor. While in a chase, after the survivor uses any exhaustion perk and suffers from the exhausted status effect if the survivor gets a escape credit from the chase or stuns the killer with a pallet the exhausted status effect becomes null for the next 30 seconds allowing the survivor to reuse his exhaustion perk anytime within the 30 seconds. Urge of survival has a cooldown of 90 seconds if equipped on level 3.

The reason of giving at least 30 seconds is because perks like Lithe or Balanced landing require getting to a location to use the perk.

*Before the killer mains starting sending hate mail, please be aware that if the killers have the right to have add ons and perks that cancel exhaustion perks and also perks like Stridor which cancels Iron Will, gen slowing perks that slow down perks like Prove Thyself, Sloppy butcher which slows down self care and healing etc. It is only fair survivors have this perk considering a lot of killers bring add ons to cancel exhaustion perks when most survivors bring those*

But like there is only two killers with exhaust add ons....and one is the worst killer in the game

Also not to be rude just don’t get too use to exhaust perks if not having the perk causes you to die fast that’s the real problem You are being carried by a perk at that point

Killers are carried by many perks most of the time. Specially perks who have no conditions, work an unlimited amount of times and they still tunnel camp and play toxic. The same thing is applied to killers. So now Im using your argument against you. Because a lot of killers are also bad if they dont have their crutch perks. I still stand by my idea.

I usually am one to give advice on changes, but this is a SERIOUSLY bad idea dude. What if someone has Sprint burst? then they can just zip around the corner, escape a chase, and for 30 seconds basically have speed hacks. Or how about balenced? that was nerfed so that it's lack of fall stumble couldn't be abused. You add this, that little haddonfeild window becomes an infinite for the next 30 seconds. I do enjoy the idea of a perk negating exhaustion, but this is just unfair on every level. Once again, I don't usually complain, but this is an EXTREMELY op perk that would be unhealthy for the game in all aspects. (edit) or even worse, Infinite deadhards. exhaustion is there to make sure stuff like this doesn't happen, and even then, exhaustion add ons are a gamble of whether they'll be useful or not. Usually killers just run add ons that will make up for their powers shortcomings

And you are also wrong. Educate yourself about the add ons of killers. There's Clown, Pig, Huntress. At least three killers from memory that have exhaustion add ons. Also two perks from memory that cause exhaustion: Mindbreaker and Blood Echo.

I understand your point but it doesn't have to be exactly like I am pointing it out, it could be more balanced. But just please keep this in mind:

Killers say that DS is too strong when it isn't, you still get tunneled and eliminated if the killer wants to be nasty because it is a playstyle. A lot of survivor perks have a lot of conditions and are very limited while killer have perks that are used constantly without any cooldowns or conditions. This is just one perk idea. It could be more balanced. It is just a general idea and it could have a consequence.

Maybe the aura of the survivor could be shown to the killer for an amount of time as well to credit the killer with something.

It doesn't have to be exactly. Is an idea that can be balanced.

And this is why when actual good suggestions and feedback come "In that sub section btw" - they're mostly ignored or buried.

Please reconsider the relative "balance" of the game still being survivor sided and exhaustion perks being the way they are because the versions of the game created even less interaction between killers and survivors than they do now.

Exhaustion addons mostly effect Dead Hard (Almost not at all on Sprint Burst or Head On, You can play Lithe or Balanced Landing around it as well). Given that about 35%+ of the "meta" uses Dead Hard with Sprint Burst being in the 21~25% range... having a powerful addon that deals with it is perfectly fine.

Are we seriously going down the road of perks that counter perks that counter perks? Personally I think this would be a bit too strong. It's not hard to lose a killer during chase for a second if you know what you're doing and pallet stunning the killer isn't too difficult either.

Also, I'm starting to get real sick of this victim mentality that everyone has in the forums. Just cuz someone says no, argues with you or calls you X main or baby doesn't mean they're attacking you or sending you hate mail. At most it's annoying cause they sometimes get spammy.

U misread. They can't spam the ability for 30 seconds. They just have 30 seconds to use the ability again.

I mean if you need exhaustion perks to loop your just bad at tiles 🤷🏻‍♀️ That’s 3/21 killers and if they use the add ons which almost no one does on pig then you chose 2/83 perks one no one uses cuz it’s bad another that’s super situational if 1% of the game is too much for you maybe don’t play the game?
