Is Ormond still the most survivor-sided map in the game?
I haven't played for a while but it's my understanding that Behavior removed a lot of God loops from certain maps and made them more balanced but I played on Ormond and it didn't seem much different. Still too many strong loops combined with the strong central structure. Has Behavior nerfed Ormond at all or do they plan to?

While they did rework Ormond, it's still busted. They might revisit the loops etc on Ormond when they take a look at the graphics but nothing is confirmed.

Did they nerf the God pallets on the Asylum and the balconies on Haddonfield yet?

If someone were to say that I wouldn't argue. Personally, I think it's Haddonfield, but Ormond is still really, really bad.

No to Haddonfield, and "not really" to Asylum.

Can’t stop moaning can you people. One thing gets fixed then straight to the next. What about the killer sided maps? What’s that? You don’t care about those ones do you.
As soon as you get your way and survivors are all dead in 5mins or less you’ll be back here crying about queue times as they all stop playing

Two pallets were removed from the Asylum main building. It's still quite annoying structure to play. No changes were done to Haddonfield, except maybe window rng changes.
Ormond is still huge and full of safe pallets and loops, it's busted as hell. Fractured cowshed is still a nightmare to play in and busted with chain loops even though it was made smaller. Thompson house is still horrible for the same reasons as fractured cowshed but not as bad. Maps that have been noticeably better to play in have been the temple, wrecker's yard and torment creek. Badham is still heavily survivor sided even after the map changes and graphical update changes.

The problem is that there's no directly killer sided maps. There's balanced maps like coal tower, wreckers yard etc, but no where near the extremes like ormond.
Indoor maps have skewed kill rates due to potato survivors, in general kill rates shouldn't even be looked at unless its above 80% or below 20% (at the extremes).
If anyone has had the pleasure of having a good squad on lerys, hawkins, midwich etc, then they know that they are absolutely not killer sided.
EDIT: wait i just got baited didn't I? oh well.

I thought I saw a breakable wall on haddonfield yesterday, but likely I'm confusing it with a different map.

Yea they nerfed the pallets there are only two in the main now on asylum and balanced landing got nerfed a long time ago so the balcony really isn't as strong as it was with the stagger reduction

I don't think anyone here said that survivors should die in 5 minutes and that other killer favoured maps like Hawkins don't deserve a fix so what the hell are you on about.

You must've forgotten shelter woods exists , that map is garbage nothing but open areas with like two jungle gyms and a empty tree in the middle , that map needs a treehouse or something more

Ormond didn't get changed with the rest of the maps.

It’s up there. I say Fractured Cowshed is worse though.

Well, Ormond and haddonfield and asylum are too survivor sided. If you die on that map, youre bad.
1 -
Honestly, all of the "killer sided" maps are just really good for stealth, so even they aren't really killer sided, they just cuck people in bright clothing

Shelter Woods is still one of the biggest maps in the game. While there isn't much for resources it can still be hard for immobile killers to apply pressure due to the size of the map.

It's between Ormond and Rotten Fields for the most survivor sided map imo. I'd probably give the worst to Ormond between those.
If you lose as survivor on Ormond regardless of what killer it is, ya'll played very badly. The game is already won if you play even semi decent.

There's like, one killer sided map in the game, which is Azarovs Resting Place, and that's still depended on survivors 3 genning themselves.
What killer sided maps are you talking about?
I guess I can understand why Shelter Woods could be survivor sided, but that's dependent on the jungle gyms that spawn.
1 -
The only maps that are really bad for survivors are Shelter Woods and Hawkins, but they're still way more playable as survivor than Ormond, Fractured Cowshed, or Haddonfield are for killer. Shelter Woods is large enough that survivors can still genrush and Hawkins still has some decent loops with the scaffolding.

It's a tossup between Ormond and Haddonfield depending on which killer you're playing.
1 -
Name one? I'd love to try them.

IMO the only killer sided map I think they should change is Asarov's Resting Place and that's only with how the gens spawn on it.
It's no issue if it's 3-1-3 but when it's possible to have a 5 gen strat on one side if it spawns right, that's pretty stupid and shouldn't happen. Hell even 4 on one side is pretty dangerous if you have a killer playing defensively. The map also let's you camp for free a lot of the time or at least force hook trades if you get someone hooked in your territory.
What other maps are you talking about out of curiosity?
Edit: On topic, I personally prefer Blood Lodge, assuming it's a good spawn. Ormond is still great though even with bad spawns as long as people don't waste everything,

I don't think anyone was moaning. Someone simply asked a question of "is it still the most survivor sided map" Sounds like a simple question, no complaining. Sounds like YOU on the other hand are projecting. Also, nice "whataboutism" there. Maybe stay on topic yeah?

What do y'all mean, I played on Ormond like 3 times now as the Blight and on all of them the Survivors were annihilated. Rank 4, by the way.
1 -
considering you can chain loops around the entire map, it’s probably 2nd or 3rd worse, tied with cowshed, behind midwich and haddon
but yea, it should be changed

I think it's a tie between Ormond and Haddonfield.

Way too many maps that suck for killer. Ormond, Haddonfield, Midwich, Cowshed, probably a bunch more I can't think of right now. Whereas by comparison maps that usually suck for survivor are Shelter Woods, and arguably Hawkin's (good survivors can still easily win on Hawkin's), but that's about it. They did remove a lot of god-infinite-loops, but there are still things that need changing.

I say Rotten Fields because I’m corn blind. This map is nothing but frustration for me as I lean forward and squint trying to find a survivor who disappeared in front of my face. Statistically this is the safest map in the game.

Ormond is a very survivor sided map, not only the tiles themselves but how they are connected to each other and in addition to that you will have a hard time to read any auras due to the lighting or whatever reason it was.
However that vs some loops or you know they are not even intended loops but when you see something like 50m fence be it white like on haddonfield or a big brown one like on some versions of badham... it is hard to tell which one is more survivor sided.

Doctor on Hawkins or the game is basically a guaranteed win if you have a good build.
