Hexys tournament makes me question some things.
Two things to be exact:
1: Why dont we have the hook icons in the game?^^ I really like them and think they would be a nice qol change against 4 stacks of the same character. This wouldnt be a huge buff tbh, just some nice touch with the benefit of killers being able to track hook states against people who look the same.
2: So What if you knew the map you will play on before the game starts?
Survivors could bring more fitting perks like balanced landing on haddonfield
and same goes for killers.
I think knowing what map you will play on could reduce frustration on both sides.
Also Otzdarva is a big brain i mean ######### how deep can you think into this game^^

the HUD is cool but his scoring system is wack
A survivor team did all gens and could have literally all went AFK, died, and still would have won but ended up tieing because they saved a guy on hook instead of letting him die.
Bleeding out does not give points, hitting 2nd stage on hook doesnt count, its all wack.

Id like a hook counter and believe it would be used more to evenly distribute hooks than tunnel.
I'm against either side knowing which map it will be in advance. That's what map offerings are for. You'd have so much more dodging otherwise

You really don't want to try to spread hook states between all 4 survivors. The best strat is to remove a survivor from the game as quickly as you can so keeping the hook states between a smaller portion of survivors is better in the long run.
It also doesn't matter if the last guy alive was hooked twice or never hooked as he'll die instantly either way.

Team B 3k'ed and 0 Escape
They tied.
To me that makes no sense.

I never death hook anyone until I've hooked everyone at least once. I try to be as fair as possible. I hate getting tunnelled out and do my best never to ruin the game for others.
That said, if I see a key or an OoO then the kid gloves come off.

i'm pretty sure it's Team A's killer got 4 kills, while Team A's survivors had 1 escape. Each team played both sides.

The maps are the biggest factor in DBD after sheer gen speeds. Map seeding is the only way to make a tournament fair... But it would also encourage lobby bullying, because competitive teams are competing for money and want to practice and win against randoms.
That being said... Imagine a proper seed system for KYF. Imagine going to a perfect Father Campells Chapel. Weak maze -> long wall gym -> junk tile -> main building. Mmmmm. I want to Blight in that map.

to add to this, during the finals, a very strong survivor team, Agony, was against a spirit, played very well. They ended up tieing because DS is bugged and they had nothing to do about it at the gates.
