Killers That Abuse Hooked Survivors Are Sociopaths
Change my mind...

The way you're wording this made me think that you were diagnosing a mental illness to killers who do this
Because honestly i wouldn't be surprised

Survivors that teabag at the gates are narcissists.
No need to change anyone's mind. It's just a fact.
"Narcissistic personality disorder involves a pattern of self-centered, arrogant thinking and behavior, a lack of empathy and consideration for other people, and an excessive need for admiration."

You're probably not even a doctor and you diagnose people with a very real disorder for hitting a survivor on a hook in a video game? I dislike people who hit on hook, but you should have changed your wording.
3 -
That can also describe half the people on these forums.
16 -
Every time you hit someone on the hook it lets other survivors know its safe to do gens.
The only time it's social acceptable to hit a survivor on the hook is when you first hook them and they're screaming. It makes them shut up.
After that it's just boring. You can't even get any upshirts or cute booty shots or anything in this game. Go chase someone else.

Or they’ve just been tilted by one survivor in particular

I know it’s hyperbole but dicking around to your opponents is human nature. T-bagging has been a thing forever, and making fun of your opposition is as old as time. Is it a good thing, no, is it really that bad? Also probably not.

You do know that not all sociopaths inflict physical pain right? A high percentage of people share traits with sociopaths but that doesn’t make them one. Sadists can also inflict pain for their pleasure.

Oh you calling Demo a sociopath
We roar to asset dominance over the nea
As i say
If you continue to be a deckhead I will hit with this feckinshred

So people like to ######### with eachother in games, what a shocker.
Survivors T-Bag and click flashlights or gesture, killers shake/nod their head and character or smack survivors on the hook.
What's the big deal?
2 -
Sure. Let me tell you a quick story.
I'm extremely new to this game and yet it is throwing me up against coordinated teams of Red/Purple ranked players, game after game.
I've resorted to basically bagging one person and sitting on them once the gates are opened to try and secure a kill. They won't come close, so I'll beat their friend and hopefully that baits them.
Now the actual sociopaths are people who completely roll a brand new killer and then teabag/stall the game out to be jerks.

What do you mean abuse hooked survivor?

Then nearly everyone is a sociopath, instead of approximately 1% of the population.
It's just anonymity. There's no repercussions, no social shaming (for good or bad), no need to be empathetic or sympathetic. Give someone a mask and they'll do everything they always wanted to do but were too scared to.

So when I play killer I try my best to play as fair as possible, but when I get a survivor trying to be "toxic" and I down them, I may hit them on hook and shake my camera as well as a way to tell them I'm not pleased with their behaviour.
A lot of people who play GTA like to cause mayhem, does that make them psychopaths? It's a bit far claiming people may suffer from mental illnesses due to their actions in a video game.
Although people who stall the game, could just be doing it so that they could earn more blood points or gain more emblems. As going against bad players really affects the emblem system, I personally don't care about rank but others do.
For example when I'm playing killer I get a group of survivors far below my skill level, I'm probably given an opportunity to end the game quite early on. Instead I'll just hook the downed survivor and allow the remaining survivor I saw in the open save the other survivor, so that I can get more blood points.

No, they got all 5 gens then waited outside an exit. They had someone on lookout and would either scatter, or converge on me with flashlights the second I knocked someone down. This went on for 20 minutes.

What exactly do you mean with "abuse"? Because my mind is making wild things up.

How wild we talking ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

It's a ######### video game.......the only people who have issues are the ones who get so out of shape over it that they take it personally and try to diagnose them like they've been in medical school instead of on dbd the last 4 years
0 -
Ikr heck I only use it as a hey stop being a dick of your being face camped next hook warning
0 -
Ye i see them as ppl who have a really bad life IRL, they are so frustrated that they need to ruin the DbD experience of survivors to feel better.
Sad but i'm sure i'm not far from the truth.

Don't even get me started on how they treat the killer and each other, in my three years of playing this game and all of gaming I think I have endured the most racism or queerophobia((I'm bisexual)) while playing DBD and it's usually when I am playing killer or solo at the hand of other survivors and I have played with some pretty ######### communities. You have four other players berating and belitting you with a crap report system. But hey---being hit on a hook is bad right?
