Get rid of Doctor
my game has a seizure every time I play against him plus he has too many free perks. I used to play this game every day but Keys, Moris and Doc are the reason I'm over it. Wait 10 minutes for a game to end in 3 minutes is dumb. Not that I expect a change since its been literally years since changes have been asked for. Oh well. Rant over.

Because he usually regularly knows where everyone is, you’ve just gotta keep moving against a Doc without necessarily running everywhere.
Unsure if Doc is preoccupied? Then...
- Fail a skill check? Get moving.
- See an illusionary doctor? Get moving.
- Screamed? Get moving.
Drop pallets early, and never keep looping an area with vaults. Just keep moving.

No.

Ironically the rework was supposed to make him less annoying...the static blast is even worse to go against than the passive madness gain imo.

Take Calm Spirit.

Its Not about how to outplay him its the fact that my game seizes up everytime I play against him. Too much is going on and the lag sets in hard.

Doc has a rather unique situation: He is rightfully one of the more hated killers, but for the wrong reason.
Unlike most killers, and this is something I rarely mention because people get butthurt about it, a good Doc has zero counterplay. They can time their shocks just right and you don't really have any option but to hold W. However, it is extremely rare to see a good Doc, and most solo players get destroyed more by panicking teammates that rely on stealth than the killer being good.

Free perks?
Sounds familiar...

Doc to me is much more annoying than leathal. His rework made him better at loops, and he was always good at tracking & messing up skill check. But others simply can kill faster and better.
Keep moving around and never ever 3-gen yourselves and you should be ok. And yes Calm Spirit is an excellent counter to him but few run it.

I think they're saying that its not the gameplay mechanics of Doctor, it's that their frames take a huge dip playing against him due to everything happening (getting shocked, illusionary doctors, static blasts, etc.), because the same thing happens to me and my specs are fine

Doc's been doing that on console for years. Guess i got used to it. However for an fps-drop fiesta, I invite y'all PCrs to play on an Xbox. With doc. On Lery's. Pretty please!

Oh no, I can't easily counter a balanced killer! Nerf it into the ######### ground because I can't change my playstyle or loop efficiently!

Imagine thinking you can beat the doctor by looping.

I know how it is because i came from Xbox to PC. I was just so fed up with controller and frames tbh

Do you even read? The OP says it's because of his or her pc slowing down against Doc.

Will you be the one to refund everyone?

you reap what you sow
On the threat itself, idk what to tell you, doctor is usually perfectly fine to deal with, really rarely do I encounter a doctor that actually knows what they are doing

You are totally ignoring the other side of the coin. The rework was meant to make him less annoying to play AS as well as AGAINST. The removal of his different stances made playing as him so much better. They gave him the blast instead of passive madness to give him a little bit more strategic play (yes, blasting every now and then is not very strategic, but it's still more than a passive effect), and you can totally avoid the blast with a locker or running out of TR, since you hear him charging it map wide. Lastly, snapping out of it got drastically easier, since it goes down to Level 1 again (used to be level 2) and you keep your progress even when being hooked.
So overall, Doc gameplay got a massive QoL update and some more strategic plays, Survivor gameplay is no longer burdened with random tiering up bc of passive madness, blast can be troublesome but also avoided, and madness is easier to get rid of. Far less annoying for killer and slightly less annoying (imo) for survivor. I think the rework devilvered.

So you escaped! And no doubt remember how challenging the frames can be on the indoor maps!

Ironically, if you see a Claudette - 99% of the time they will be playing stealthy/blending into the darkness to take advantage of her broken clothing colors. Maybe not altruistic, but they will almost always be playing super stealthy.

I personally hate that his madness doesn't go away once it is applied. =/

Guilty as charged. I've escaped way too many chases by literally crouching and sticking my head in a bush in full view of the killer.

I misread. Sorry about that. I'm on ps4 though, and ive never had problems with doctor. Ive only have problems with sloppy

Agreed. Most Doc players run after you for like 10 minutes and zap you 8 times instead of landing a hit. Just drop a pallet and run around the loop while getting shocked. This can sometimes go on for minutes but most players just panick, try to hide in some corner of the map or inside lockers.
BTW: Doc CAN be played in a way where you deny vaults with your shocks but this totally misses the point of the Doc. PH, Huntress and even the Clown can do this much better. His Terror radius is what makes him strong but most Doc players don't even run distressing on him. Despite having anything that gives him a larger terror radius. But somehow some survivors always manage to get shocked.

Sure, that was some kind of necessary with passive madness increase. But with that being gone, it is no longer required. Also, the devs were simplifiyng the values associated to the madness levels, from 0-100 to 0-3, with shock giving a half and blast a full level, to make it more clear overall. Passive increase / decrease does not fit there.
