Uneven scorning system.

The game punishes survivors for being to focused one thing and expects players to

  • Fix Generators
  • look for totems
  • work together
  • heal and save one another
  • evade and and outrun the killer.

If you don't spread those out you get less blood points not to mention if you hide you have birds pointing you out. even when you're down(which is stupid).

as the killer your goal is to kill everyone and you get points for

  • chasing
  • hitting
  • downing
  • hooking
  • kicking generators or pallets.

you can end a game in about 3 mins you're really good. yet if survivors do the same thing they will get less points for doing less things, you'll even loose rank(not that they really matter)

Yet the killer fills all their categories just by playing the game because unlike survivors they all link up to desired result. If survivors are punished for rushing game, where the punishment for a killer rushing a game? it takes all the fun from one side in both cases.

If you're a good killer that's great I'm just putting a question out there. If I played game where I only see a killer once but I do other things and escape why do I loose potential blood points for not dying. yet if I get destroyed and die too fast I barely anything. so which is it.? but If a killer destroys a whole team they clean house and just call survivors noobs and trash.

I didn't read the thread fully, but I agree with it being uneven. It's unfair that I have to use WGLF every match just to get the fair amount, being a mere 30,000 points. I deserve more than that, because I've done lots in the past matches as Survivor and haven't even gotten half of the points, regardless of escaping or not.

You won't get much points as the killer either when you finish the game fast and one-hook everyone. Also, it's ridiculously easy for survivors to get full-cap objective points, since they get a massive boost when working at a gen together. For the other categories, yes you have to do something. But when the killer performs good (not stomping you), you will get plenty of opportunity to be in a chase or unhook / heal someone. If you prefer to rush gens, and the killer struggles to hook anyone, then your BP will be less, of course. But thats for the killer aswell.

True, however the amount of killers who stomp you is extremity high.

Survivors have to work together to get the most BP they can. Not sure how you would change the BP scoring but there is a reason Killers make more.

And it partially has to do with trying to get more people to play Killer.

that makes sense. I understand why some don't want to play killer though, I try to play both sides and as a killer you're bound to this fake rule book or you're going to get people disconnecting and rage quitting because they don't want you to get the points. so it's frustrating on both sides.

I think you might be misunderstanding how the scoring system works. A killer who ends the game in 3 minutes is also not going to get many points and is almost certainly not going to rank up.

Killers generally earn more points than survivors in any given match; this is perfectly cromulant since playing killer takes way more effort than playing survivor. But killers are working under the same imperfect emblem system that survivors are using.

Yeah it does feel a little uneven, I'm always polite in chat but I get a lot of survivors who scorn me anyway. Feels bad man. 😥

The 3 iri devout is just stupid.

I'm playing killer for 3 and half hours now and i have 2/3.

Survivors DC, suicide on hook, getting 10 hooks. I play super fair, no camp or tunnel because i need hooks.

What can i say, bad luck.

Don't forget that negative scoring events

More so on the killers but still

The scoring system is uneven in the point allocations and forcing a longer match for points isn't fun anymore

I wouldn't say so, maybe one in ten matches the killer totally stomps in my games. There are games where the killer has the advantage and kills all without mercy, but I wouldn't consider this stomping when you still have the chance to get good points (aka earning 20k or more with dying)

Is it not intentional to allow balance on number of players playing both roles? I mean there are 3 more survivors to a killer in a game, so it make sense why they'd offer more bp to play as killer vs. survivor.

Have you played as killer in Red / Purple? Finishing the game early is almost a guaranteed depip and at most brutal killer. If you finish in less than 3 or even 5 minutes you'll barely get 20k bp and if you're lucky 15k.

Mind you yes this has been an issue with survivor for a while. They have to do individual task to play optimally but they are punished if they don't spread out their work. My honest opinion is either survivors should get a 10% bonus based on the performance their teammates did in each category (So 30% total) which would be rewarded post game even if you went on to the next game OR just overall increases to BP. Granted the post game reward I'd only give if a survivor lasted until the gates were powered to avoid people suiciding on hook and still being rewarded.

This is if we're talking BP. If we're talking emblems the survivor emblem scoring system is already generous regardless of how you play.

The survivor sides scoring system is actually pathetic when it rewards these disgusting rushed gameplays and farming each other off the hook over actually how the game is meant to be played. And we wonder why we have so many ######### survivors playing this game.

Killers is actually fairly sensitive early game. If you stomp a group you're more likely to depip if anything. The game wants killers to play with their food a bit initially before snowballing later.

Ranks shouldn't even matter in this game, I know it's meant put players of similar skill together but right now that system isn't even working. I don't give a damn what rank I have. sure I want to move up but it's not the end game for me. once you reach rank 1 and get the achievement for it what does it matter anymore?
