I'd like struggle phase to behave more like how it works within the PH's Cage. Assault the survivor with skillchecks and missing skillchecks speeds up the sacrificial process.
I hate the whole mashing spacebar to live thing. It hurts my wrist so much.

This is literally the one thing that everyone from Toxic survivors to the sweatiest of killers agree on. They SAID they were taking feedback on it but i don't understand why it couldn't have just been slapped on to the PTB. I thought thats what the PTB was for

The only reason that they've said for not changing the mash spacebar thing is that it'd not be immersive enough.

Oh yeah because survivors constantly t bagging and bullying the killer is so immersive. I mean i have absolutely no fear of killers but at least I can be immersed in the button mashing

Not gonna argue much about that, I just know that the developers are extremely stubborn in changing the game for the better. They rather stick to the guns, even if its worse, because that's what they've always done. Same deal with the colorblindness mode that everyone affected would want. "It'd give an unfair advantage", my arse.

for me, I agree. There should be option for struggling - crazy pressing space or just hold space. Sometimes I feel pain in my arm even I am healthy

I wanna add that i get really sick of dying when i can't keep mashing, i can't play with my friends without sometimes dooming the whole team when i get second hooked, i like this game alot so far and it would suck to have to stop playing because they won't implement accessibility.

We need that, more skill, less button smashing and a huge quality of life(real life) change.

It'd not really be "more skill", it'd just be less tedious and healthier for your arm, wrist and keyboard.

I hope they change this before next-gen consoles, not looking to kill my new X button on my PS5 DualSense controllers in November.

That's exactly why I hate it, spamming one of your keys is going to hurt its lifespan, and I don't think a game should have a mechanic that is detrimental to your equipment.

well, for me is sometimes hard this "crazy pressing buttons", because I am left hand player so I use mouse by left hand, and keyboard by right hand. Thats mean, that lot of buttons I must press by different fingers and sometimes it caught me pain or discomfort.

My spacebar is almost ######### because of it now, I need a new keyboard

Y'all never heard of macros? A good gaming keyboard/mouse isn't too expensive. I got my mouse for around $30 - best investment for playing DbD.

i dumped about 60+ dollars into getting a decent trackball and ergo keyboard, and they aren't even made for gaming. i tried using an autoclicker and binding struggle to m1 but it proved to be equally unreliable as just spamming the button myself because it likes to offset itself from the window.

If it helps, I am using a Logitech G600. It has multiple side buttons where your thumb rests, and all I had to do was simply program one of them to be a toggle. When I turn the toggle on, it simulates hitting spacebar repeatedly. Once in the struggle phase, I turn the macro on with a tap of the button; then hit it again once rescued or dead to turn it off.

any guide for doing this? im not the best with computers. this might solve all my problems

If you send me your mouse and keyboard names, I could look into your options!

wish they change this to be just like cages where you get skill checks and it prevents instant dying on hook

But this is still solution for right hand people. So many mouse has 1000 buttons, but that is all for right hand.
