Pyramid Head's Cage is a bad design
I, personnaly, think that the Pyramid head's cage is a bad design beceause this just make the killer a tunnel machine.
The fact that the killer can avoid Decisive Strike by sending survivor in cage is a good idea, but How can you think Decisive Strike and Borrowed Time shouldnt work when you get uncaged. For me it's a problem to let a way to killer to tunnel easily survivor. This is just unenjoyable for survivors.
And for people who are going to tell me that DS is broken so it's cool to have a power to avoid it, as I said earlier "The fact that the killer can avoid Decisive Strike by sending survivor in cage is a good idea" + I also think that DS should be reworked, I don't know How but I don't want to let DS as the best survivor perk.
I'm open to discuss but just know that I only want the game to be enjoyable for both sides, and for the moment i'm not having fun against a killer that can avoid 2 perks, that let me some chance to not get tunnel, very easily
(Sry if I make mistake too, i'm not english and there is not forum for my language ^^)
Thx for readiing ! Have a good day.

His power can ######### him sometimes, but you point One thing that happen only when the all 5gen are done and other survivors are still alive.
I understand what u mean but it won't happen 95% of the time you play against a Pyramid head

"This is just unenjoyable for survivors."
My problem with the game is that it seems to me that devs balance the game arround this statement.
Something-Something strong/enjoyable on killer side?
It's not enjoyable for the survivors. Gut it until it's dead.
I think having 1 killer that can play arround 1 broken perk isn't that bad.

His cage had a good design in the beginning; but because players didn't like the fact that PH players could see his Cage and just run towards it after sending a Survivor there - to combat people just letting them out of the Cage literally like 5-10 seconds after they're being sent there like they do now; so it got nerfed into the ground.
Now, PH can't even go near it without it sinking into the ground and teleporting somewhere else in a ridiculously short span of time. Additionally, PH can't see his Cage anymore so he can't go disrupt a release (because that would be 'camping' the cage) - and his cage has a horrible habit of not actually spawning on the 'opposite' side of the map from him; but sometimes closer to the middle or just in the 'general opposite direction' on some maps (if PH is in say bottom-left corner of map and cages someone; the cage should be close to top-right corner of map if it went off pure opposites).
I think the fact it cancels DS and BT is more than fair to compensate for how gutted it became.

I never use cage while more than 1 Survivor is alive because its a straight up nerf to your ability to kill Survivors. The benefit of not using cage far outweighs the seconds you save taking a Survivor to a hook as well, the barbed wire obstructing their screen for the entire match gives you an edge for the duration it effects them.

I do enjoy playing against some strong killer or strong perk build.
I like to play vs Spirit bc you need to change the way you loop killer and try to find some new mind game.
But I can't enjoy a game where the killer is free to tunnel and I can do anything about that, but I played against some good and non tunneler PH and it was super cool to play. But not everyone is like that and I wish every game could be as cool as some game that I had

I'm pretty sure that Cage spawn are not totaly random beceause I see a lot of PH going strait to the cage like they exactly know where it's
So if Player can learn where every cage can spawn not having the aura of the caged survivor doesnt change anything for you, and you can play the same way the killer came out.
I don't play a lot PH so I don't know a lot of thing about him as a killer so my POV is more a survivor point.
(In the new Dev update, they nerfed the ability of PH to instant attack after removing his power so I don't want to nerf him more. For me PH was very strong and was the only killer where I had some idea how to nerf him but now i'm ok with the killer ^^)

I mean what do you mean by 'a killer that is free to tunnel'?
Sure, if PH uses his power after you stumbled over his trails of torment, he can play arround DS.
But this doesn't mean that he instantly wins by default.
If that dude decides to keep going for you, even after you've been recently unhooked, he still has to find, hunt and down you first.
Plus you have to walk over his trails for him to be able to play arround DS.
If he doesn't apply any pressure on the map and just goes tunnel-vision on you, he'll probably end up losing the game, because while chasing you from safe window to safe palette to safe loop, gens will pop left and right.
