Unhook Invu is broken

I just posted the same in the bug report section and hope it actually IS a bug.
But it pretty clearly shows the problem with this new mechanic.
Why the heck does a killer have to "time his swing right"?
That guy is hopping of rusty hook, is there some sort of magical forcefield protecting him mid air?
Especially after the hooks-removes-exhaustion crap, this is broken af, because if you miss he is SBing away, most likely with SB-invu-frames.

Pretty good job so far.

I just played Wraith on Coal Tower.
1 already dead, 1 already escaped. Noed up and running.
I hooked one and chased the other out the open gate.
Because I have nothing else to do but wait for the kobe attempts I stood there and waited for it to happen.
The Bill did kobe on the 3rd attempt. I waited until he hit the floor and started running.
I heard the splash of a hit and a paingroan and saw blood splatter … but … he just kept on running, right out the open gate.
Please tell me this is a bug and not "working as intended".

Yes, I am always very salty when this happens and the survivors are gonna regret it

Yep, survivor can make bad plays and the killer is the one who "needs to adept" to avoid getting punished for it.

    Pretty good job so far.

Yeah the hitbox for them are broken too. When I play huntress if you throw a hatchet at someone unhooking sometimes it will go through them and hit the guy who cant be damaged then give them a free save and more time to run away. They also need to fit the stupid lock-on to the hooked survivor

I noticed this as well, on PS4... I've had about 5-6 times yesterday and today that a survivor was able to jump off the hook and start running. I hit them each, after they connected with the ground and started running, heard the hit connect and the blood spurt, only to have them KEEP RUNNING!!!!! This invulnerability is trash. Especially when the hatch is within 15 meters and I keep losing survivors because of invulnerable survivors who don't even earn it. Please fix this invulnerability bug.

The 2.2 PTB had this right: the attack would ignore the unhooked survivor and hit the savior. Now the unhooked survivor tanks the hit, which is ridiculous.

they broke the self unhooks when they reduced the animation time but kept the invulnerability for the longer time

lol i find this funny. "camping is legit".RIP. This "Fix" also stems from solo survivors being sandbagged by SWFs in order to intentionally create a hatch game.I cant count how many times ive been bullied as a solo player against SWF tryhards. My only suggestion is start back revving with every killer, chainsaw or not. Count to 2 and go Red Foreman on their asses.

The unhooking survivor should be taking the damage, not just leaving a survivor invincible. In any case, im just glad my Huntress can actually throw over the slaughter wall.. for now.

And again I got robbed of a kill by this crap.
This time it is even worth, I was approaching from behind the unhooker and lunged at her, because she was already injured and I heard the hit connect, blood splattered across the screen and she screamed, BUT BOTH kept running right out the open gate!
It seemed like my hit connected with the unhooked instead the unhooker and got soaked up by the invulvnerability.

This is plain stupid, since I not even tried to tunnel and get the unhooked tunneled, but it just screwed me over for playing like survivors -and Devs- want me to.
This mechanic has way to many situations where it punishes killer that did nothing wrong.

    Pretty good job so far.

Yeah there are some videos of some really bad examples of this.

I think it's a bug/network issue though because I've been pulled off a hook and actually downed again BEFORE i had control of my character.

It's about the survivor messing up and doing bad plays, but they get covered up by bad gamemechanics and the killer gets punished for their mistakes.

Player A is on the hook and player B makes the decision to do an unsafe unhook. So the Devs decided it would be unfair if player A gets punished for the bad decision of player B, so instead they now punish player C -the killer!
