A survivor idea
I have an idea for a survivor. That's it.
I couldn't think of a name, so you can pick one for him
The survivor is male, has a loud breathing sound and moderately loud grunts of pain.
Lore:
He was student, who would do everything to finally feel proud of himself, and the fear of making a mistake was driving him through his life. He was exceptionally intelligent, but very arrogant and selfish, many students disliked him. There were many reasons for that. One day the students united and decided, that he has to learn a lesson. And so they surrounded him, started kicking, punching. He thought this was going to be his end - they're surely going to kill him. He did survive, and he made a promise. He will never belittle others again. Then all seemed to go just fine, but guilt was eating him inside out. How could he be the reason people got so violent? He couldn't stand the fact, that others did that to him. When he finally realised how bad of a classmate he was, he ran off in a direction he didn't even know. And soon he noticed, that around him, there's only the fog.
Perks:
Never again, Guilt, Pride
Never again:
"I can't let the same mistake happen twice."
After you are unhooked, you can see the killer's aura when he's within the distance of 3/6/9 metres and you get 5% vaulting speed.
Guilt:
"I can't show myself like this. Such a failure."
After missing 4/3/2 skill checks, Guilt activates.
For the next 30/50/70 seconds your aura can't be read by any player, and you're 70% less quieter.
When the effect ends, Guilt deactivates (it can be activated many times)
Pride:
"Perfection. It's the best feeling of all, even though it may lead to my demise"
For each great skillcheck, gain 1 token, up to a maximum of 5 tokens. When you're injured or you fail a skillcheck, lose 1 token.
For each token you gain 2/3/4% repairing, healing and cleansing.
When you reach 5 tokens, skillchecks start appearing more frequently, good skillcheck zones are decreased by 30%, and completing great skillchecks grants a 5% progression bonus.
Overall his perks are rather self-centered, "Never again" helps him move on after being unhooked, "Guilt" lets him be more sneaky and pride helps speed up work, but requires skill to get the most of it.
I think a build around "Pride" would be exciting to play.
So, let me know what you think about the character concept and his perks. I tried my best to not make them overpowered.

Never Again - FAR too strong. LOS-blocking loops become unmindgameable for the killer. Some of the possible nerfs it needs: 1) a time limit. 2) only works after the first unhook. 3) Only works when not in chase.
Guilt - Far too weak. I don't really know how to rework this.
Pride - No. Gen speed perks are rare for a reason. Don't even try to make perks that include the idea of faster gen progression, they just aren't good ideas. Not to mention this one is particularly ridiculously strong.

Thanks for the comment :)
Yeah, you have a point.
When I'm looking at all of this now, you're absolutely right.
I honestly don't know how I could forget about a time limit for "Never Again". I guess there's two options: either make it a perk that counters camping, or make the aura read work only outside of chases and remove the vault buff.
So, the new "Never again" would:
-give you aura read on small distances outside of chases,
-work only between being unhooked for the first time and getting hooked again.
For guilt, I've made a horrible mistake when writing it. (wth is "less quieter"). The idea was that you would fail a skillcheck, gain the aura read immunity and maybe become completely silent and then go for an unhook. Yeah, It's not good. Perhaps I should completely scrap it.
About Pride, I think about removing the gen progression speed and instead of giving a 5% progression for greats at max tokens, just double the normal progression bonus (this way it does less when repairing and more when healing)

Guilt is just Distortion with a gimmick, and you need to slow down your own objectives and reveal your location to the killer to activate it.
Based on the lore you provided, your survivor really sounds like a Walter.
