When does The RIft close (I mean specifically)?

Apologies, if this is listed somewhere but I couldn't find it anywhere or info on past ones where I wasn't active in the game anymore.
What does that mean it closes on October 7th? Is that like as soon as it rolls over at 12:00 AM (and what timezone) from the 6th or is it later during the day, or when the 7th ends, or what?

Further: Chron would appear to be at 7:00 PST (six and a half hours from this post). Rush the last few hours if you got it!

A day ends in 00:00 of UTC, so the last day at midnight at UTC 00:00

Does The Rift end ON October 7th or at the END of October 7th?
