I saw these photos showing how low blights POV is compared to his head..devs you need to fix this
are there any plans to actually fix this ? Or are we stuck with this ?

Yes bhvr, please make blight shorter so his POV matches his height. We need this!
2 -
Im not even surprised by this. Classic bhvr messing up on even the most simplest things

They had one job! Lol I like blight but his low height hurts him and I don’t wanna use shadowborn on him bc it’s a wasted perk slot

I'm a shadowborn blight main and it's still difficult to see over basic tiles.
1 -
It looks like the Blight in the picture is already running Shadowborn

Couldn't agree more. His height makes absolutely no sense. I know its common for games to have FPS cameras more along the upper chest but it does not make any sense that a survivor has a taller field of vision than I do, when they're also in third person. Also, when you pick a survivor up he grows by like 7 inches, to what should be his normal height. All of the worst things about Blight are just weird QOL issues which is just bizarre.

What do you mean my head isn't where my hands are?

I just looked and he is 😂 wow BHVR fix your #########

Doesn't Pig have a similar problem with regards to her POV while crouched compared to her head's position while crouched?
0 -
I know her POV is low in stealth but that’s it
2 -
The eyes must be somewhere low in the ribcage then.

I mean its not like they actually listen to anything anyone says on the forums, surveys, twitter, Q&A, and even the fog whisperers.
They just expect us to trust that they know exactly what the communtiy wants without ever actually saying
"Yes this is a problem, and yes we will fix it."

I dont know why they did that, it makes no sense. Especially since Blight is THE chase killer, whose power is literally to run really fast. Look, the killer in the game that needs to know where he is going, well, let's make his FoV shorter than Hag but make his model taller so it doesn't give him an advantage.
3 -
Gotta admit that's absolutely ridiculous.
He's average height but has the POV of a crouching ghostface/pig.
And he's even using shadowborn
2 -
We really do need answers about Blight's FOV.
I've read this so many times since Blight came out and BHVR have been very good at ignoring the concern. Just because there's other stuff going on doesn't mean this isn't important and I really hope they at least acknowledge the issue.

Without shadowborn you can't even see over that BASIC tile, even though the survivor can see you, no cap.

I believe the reason they did this was to make it more clear what you can bounce off of. A lot of stuff you use to bounce is low to the ground so it might feel weird to play him with a taller FOV. That being said I'm 100% for making his fov higher off the ground lol
1 -
Yeah, I remember seeing a video from a youtuber about this, and it looks absolutely awful when you compare yourself to the survivor.
Check 0:29.
EDIT: Oh ######### that's you lol, ignore this because you already experienced it.

Of course, this post gets edited by some mod and gets put into the suggestion and feedback, when really, this post is just a general statement. BHVR this post in not a suggestion at all, its more like fix your mistake because you can't seem to get POV right for a killer that is TALLER THAN SURVIVORS.
2 -
In other words, it's feedback. And if you want BHVR to notice, the Feedback and Suggestions section is where it should be. Would you rather get attention from forumgoers with no influence over the game, or from the devs?
1 -
Well, if the forum mods and community managers were actually worth their money, they would go to https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussions and chime through all kinds of discussion to determine the players' frustrations and wishes.
0 -
That's literally what this section is for, to say what our frustrations and wishes are, all in one place so they're easier to find and push to the devs.

Yet, I barely see them responding to suggestions. Something simple as "Yes, thats a valid concern, I will bring it forward to our development team", or "No, we have considered that suggestion, and decided against because: [Enter reason here]".
The only memeber of the team I see being active regularily is KhaineGB in the Technical Issues subforum. And from what I see, they are actually helping people there.

As I understand it, all the suggestion and feedback threads are forwarded to the devs, because it's not up to them to decide whether our concerns are valid or not.
However, having them reply to each one is just not going to happen, especially when people expect instant implementation or otherwise think up completely arbitrary timelines for when they think their ideas/complaints should have been implemented/addressed.
Furthermore, the devs could get a better idea while attempting to implement what someone suggested, or even realize that the suggestion is unworkable, prompting a shitstorm from people who don't understand that projects change and can't accept that their ideas are not perfect.
Bottom line, "Feedback and Suggestions" is where you want to put feedback and suggestions if you want the devs to notice it. If you just want forumgoers to notice it, then by all means, put it on "General Discussions".

Well, I hope you are right. I just wish this information was more publicily available. Its kind of frustrating when you have a good suggestion that is supported by alot of people, and you dont know if the developers are in the process of adding it or abandoned the idea already, because its not possible to implement in a timely fashion.

All I know is that multiple people, myself included, have reported that their ideas have been implemented in one form or another. So while the devs may not implement our ideas exactly as we wrote them (which is fine, IMO, they can think for themselves), they do take notice of them.
For example, I once suggested a totem fix wherein totems would only spawn in specific areas, obvious to everyone, but the totems themselves would be hidden from direct line of sight, requiring survivors to walk into dead-ends and such, which would be dangerous for them. Sound familiar?

*Laughs in Trapper*

Honestly, I didn't even think of Trapper at the time because he was still garbage.
0 -
Trapper is still gargabe, unless you consider the resetting as such a huge buff.
0 -
I think it gives him a bigger advantage with Hex perks than any other killer.
0 -
Every time I make a statement criticizing the devs or just pointing something out it gets put into here
1 -
Bumping this for justice, playing Blight feels terrible with his handicapped camera.
0 -
To bad it’s in feedback and discussion now lol
0 -
Yes, feedback gets moved to the proper section.
0 -
Theres feedback and then there’s discussion if I wanted to send feedback I’d put it in feedback so no wrong section
0 -
This thread is feedback for the devs, it's right there in the title. So it was moved to the correct section, where the devs will actually see it.
