Brand New Part OP
Why is brand new part still a thing in this game?.... if a team wanted they could 3 man a gen and have it completed in less then 20 seconds right at the start.
Behaviour needs to look at their balancing team and question “why? Why is this a thing?” Gen speeds are already ridiculous at high levels... why would you compound the issue with an add that does 25% in 5 seconds lol
This game just makes me go “why” so much... maybe to much

While gen speeds can go by fast, BNPs are no where as OP as the used to be at the beginning of the game.

Imagine a 4 man SWF and they all brought in a brand new part and they get the skill check right + prove thyself. Gen rush straight up... I don't think they should do any changes to it though. Just leave it as it is.

While bnps are pretty strong, I don't think they are overpowered. Getting 1 gen done fast early game isn't that good and is much better to pressure separate gens. Also nowadays with gen times you are likely to lose around 3 gens for your first hook anyway.

I mean... every side has OP things. As far as BNP's go, I'm okay with it. It's use is offset by its rarity. I certainly prefer BNP's, Iri addons and autoheals to keys and Mori's. A single BNP doesn't change the game nearly as much as people think. Yeah, it's strong, and yeah, it's a big advantage, but it doesn't literally cut off half a trial.

These just really aren't all that problematic. It's very rare to see even one brand new part being brought into a game. I don't know if I've ever seen survivors bring multiple BNP into any of my lobbies as a killer. Maybe a long time ago when they actually were OP.

Honestly if they gang up and all use bnp on one gen. I'd call that a win in my book as killer.

BNPs are not OP. They just became the best Toolbox-Add Ons since they Toolboxes became useless overall, so they stand out a little bit.

It is indeed a strong item, but nowhere as overpowered as it used to be. It went through two changes before it became what it is now. Yes, still strong, but not overpowered in my opinion.
The game starts with 7 generators, so even if four people spread on four generators, you still possibly have time to shoo away some of them. While this can surely progress the game quite quickly, it still is possible to do things to prevent it as much as possible.
I can see why people might want to see another change, but it is by far not as OP as it used to be and I rarely see it in any matches. Many peope discarded BNP as useless after they changed it from the original even though it desperately needed the change.

If 3 survivors all rush one gen with bnp that's actually not a terrible thing. Probably better than all 3 survivors on separate gens.
I personally never grab it since I don't think it's amazing anymore.

Brand New Parts are a bit op especially if someone also has Prove Thyself. I was playing Nurse the other day and three people got on a gen one with prove thyself and two with brand new parts (one of bnp users was also the prove thyself person) and the generator was done before I was halfway across the map while also using my blinks. That was RIDICULOUS!!!!

It's a single use add-on that grants a very powerful effect, it is fine as is. Besides, gen repairing speed haven't been an issue since toolbox rework, they're fair and, besides, there's not much survivors can do to speed up gens. Prove Thyself is more used for BP rather than speed buff, and toolboxes aren't really worth it anymore unless you're playing SWF or find them in chests.

BNPs are strong, but I don't think they are broken or op atm. They were a bit on the weak side before when toolboxes with the right add-ons could last the entire game proving a permanent speed boost to repair speeds. But now BNPs are rightfully the strongest toolbox add-on as they further increase the burst toolboxes grant to gen progress.

An ultra rare add-on that requires two difficult skill checks to get the most value out of it? Not overpowered in the least.

Regardless if this add on is OP or not, just saying that it used to be OP in the past doesn't mean it is fine today.
Just because something was changed and nerfed doesn't mean it is balanced now.
If we are looking at the current gen speed and the percentages that each side has to do for their objectives, Brand new part is still problematic because it adds an extreme amount of progress to something that is already unbalanced.
But they honestly don't need to change it. They only need to make a good rework. I don't see the problem in perks, items or add ons but in the game itself.

Fun Fact: BNP's used to INSTANTLY finish a gen no matter what percent it was at! Imagine 4 survivors bringing that then mid chase you see the survivor you're after snap to a gen and it finishes instantly
