Killer is not fun

I'm almost completely done with playing killer I have played both sides for years but killer is just not fun anymore ik the game is starting to Ballance more towards killers but it's so damn anoying to play it seems like every game you get swf that just want to be a pain in the ass it's ridiculous it seems like 4/6 games you get swf groups that play like there life depends on it I'm honestly thinking about switching all my time into survivor even survivor is not that much more fun but less frustration than killer

    I’m still enjoying killer.

I think it’s funny when I’m playing someone like trapper against SWF red ranks and getting 3-4ks and the thought of these forums constantly complaining crosses my mind.

I get bored when I play against boosted survivors because I feel like the matches are super boring. Like, even when they go super sweaty they can be so boring because of how many mistakes they make.

Every killer match is fun as long as I'm not on Lérys, ormond, rotten fields or any indoor map. Also, as long as I'm not going against 4 stealth player/blendettes.

As long as I'm zooming around the map and hitting people as blight, I'm having fun :D.

It feels like that quite a lot. Killers do the same thing too though. yesterday I had a match against a pyramid head where he just slugged all of us. zero attempt put us on hook. and you'd heal someone up just for him to down them again and leave them there. It was not fun at all. He just stood there and watched us all bleed out. Yeah we did gens too but still

I don't think there is any buffs or nerfs in the world that can improve DBD in its current state, I think we need a core gameplay overhaul for that to happen. Something that adds new mechanics or something to mix it up, but we all know thats way to much work for BHVR.

It's not even that though, any balance that they could do on either side would be met with "WHAT I can't do this anymore and get away with it?"

"Change it back now!" ect. This goes for both killer and survivor. I've heard that many things that have been used to help survivors and killers have just been abused and removed as a result.

    • stop hook regression if the killer is too close? good idea, oh wait lets just loop the killer near the hook so my friend never dies
    • They're back but, Lets have a penalty for rage quitters who ruin trials? good idea, oh wait, people can just hack accounts and give people insane ban timers

No matter what change they make in an attempt to balance out the game there will always be people that hate it with a burning passion

I run into that problem a lot where you say "just do this" but then it will create a "but what about this" and shut it down. So ive given up on in depth balance and just think the game needs massive changes rather than small ones across the board.

i mean.... survivors really cant do much to make the killer experience unfun except maybe t-bagging, but that will only trigger the killer if the player lets it.

Killers can literally just face camp a guy and just not let them play the game. They are 100% not having fun, no change in mindset will make being face camped fun.

you gotta play toxic killer to the point of making survs DC, then the funz will come back, suggestions:

    • ALWAYS do half a dozen of tornadoes before hooking
    • nod head + torture repeatedly the hooked survs
    • facecamp + catch hook-rescuers then drop
    • equip BW + FD + LB + IG
    • equip strong addons
    • equip mori(s)
    • PROFIT!

That’s how I feel about survivor. I was a rank 1 who didn’t belong there, hated every game. Now I just play killer and seem to enjoy the game much more.

It's because killer has nothing in their base deck that makes up for losing.

It's assumed they'll get more zoning potential as gens get done and the area shrinks, but a survivor not doing anything useful still has 3 other survivors making up for their incompetence.

Killer has no base advantages aside from scratch marks and noticing the occasional disturbed crow.
