Rework THANATOPHOBIA
I thought this game was supposed to have freedom of choice in character builds, even killer builds. I hate hex perks and yet the only way to prevent 3 generators getting finished in under 60 seconds is to use Hex:Ruin which survivors can negate almost as soon as it spawns on the map. Where is my non-hex alternative?
Rework Thanatophobia's action slowing values so that keeping a mere one survivor injured at all times is far more crucial to slowing the survivors than getting the highly improbable 4 simultaneous injuries. For example:
# of Survivors Injured or Hooked
1 = -40% survivor skill speed
2 = -48% skill speed
3 = -52% skill speed
4 = -54% skill speed
An option to take this further is to give Thanatophobia's tier 3 a bonus power to add a persistent stacked penalty of -4% slowing per each survivor that dies.
Any thoughts, folks?

Rip Dying Light.
I'm not sure if you're actually aware of what 40% actually is in game, but it's huge.

Christ in heaven it needs a buff but not that huge of a buff lmao
What it definitely needs to do is stay active on Dead survivors. Currently if a survivor dies, they lose a tier of Thana. That's pretty dumb imo

Take the old thanat.
Add 12% to All values as well as 15/20/25% slower vault speed only for the injured survivors.
Dead survivors have their own value of 5/8/101 -

If you want to buff Thanatophobia, nerf Self Care.

I can get behind buffing thanatophobia, bit the numbers you just listed are WAY out of proportion.

I feel like Thana should still be active after a surv is dead or sacrificed. I mean it is the fear of your own mortality and after seeing someone die or hear their scream of death, I'm sure that would induce a lot of problems in someone with Thana lol

I don't know, dude. I've used Dying Light, with the Obsession add-on AND an Ivory Mori with Freddy and killed the obsession maybe 2 minutes into a match and they were still able to get gens done pretty quick. And by the time the Obsession died there were usually 3 gens left. Not AS quick but still quicker than you would expect considering.
Edit: it might be really good if you couple Dying Light with Pop Goes The Weasel to really slow down their gen progress. But if you're not using Freddy and have that add-on you're kind of screwed. And if you're running around, hitting Survivors, looking for your obsession you're kind of screwed there too because you're wasting time and not putting people on hooks. And even if you find the obsession you're forced to camp and hope and pray they don't get all the gens done.
I don't say dying light is good, I just say that putting Thana to 40% (or even 20%) would make Dying light completely obsolete, hence the "RIP Dying Light".
You could already say Dying Light is already dead tho, in the current state.0 -
How about we keep it as it is, but every time someone is hit, all survivors get a 1/1.5/2 % action speed regression?
Would stop body blocking too that way.
And slightly affect Self Care since it will take longer and longer to heal.3 -

LMAO -- I love reactions to the percent bonuses I stated.
My favorite suggestion is one where a dead survivor's penalty lasts the remainder of the match. I'd favor that. I would yet like to see that sole injured survivor to be more crucial. Perhaps devs could invert the percentage progression and have the percents stacking rather than replacing the previous.
I see suggestions to nerf Self Care instead. I say, naaah... Clown is already bringing in a perk that's a big nerf to healing in general, moreso if you stack with Distressing. (Stack with Clown's add-on for _2_minutes_of_Mangled!)
