Should BT and DS be combined into one perk?

Should Borrowed Time and Decisive strike be combined into one perk?
Both are meant to be anti tunneling perks, and their bad reputation comes from how some people misuse them. So, what if the perks would be combined into this:
When unhooked with BT, it activates for longer for the unhooked person (no TR etc required), let's say 60 seconds or until they do a gen or are fully healed up (as in, 60 seconds unless healed before that).
If they get hit and/or engaged in a chase (and hit) during this time DS activates for a certain duration.
To make the meta more interesting and make it genuinely anti-tunnel, it could also activate if the unhooked person runs the perk, but not the unhooker.

There are a lot of good ideas to change DS out there but I don't think this is one. While in theory this perk sounds nice, it can be very abusable. First off, no terror radius required. Thats already a red flag to me. If I, as a killer, were to run to the other side of the map and find nobody and the person gets unhooked, my best bet is to go back to the hook and get another down. This may be "tunnelling" but what else am I meant to do? They are the only people whos location I know, so why wouldnt I? I'm the killer after all, im on the other team to them. I'm not trying to let them win, if I know where they are then it's my objective to find and kill them. So if I find them, despite not camping them at all, I still get punished? They can not only take a hit, but they can take a down too and I can't do anything about it. At this point I have not played scummy. I left the hook, I came back because thats where someone was that I know of, and now I can't do anything about it. Survivors can run DS and Unbreakable to get 60 seconds of complete immunity from the killer after being unhooked which is already completely broken. 60 seconds is 3/4 of a generator. Completely free. "let's say 60 seconds or until they do a gen or are fully healed up." the fully healed up part I can agree with, that is how DS should be, but doing a gen is completely broken. You are saying that after someone is unhooked, they can completely finish a generator with no threat of getting killed. There are 5 generators in a game, a survivor can be unhooked 2 times each. That means that with this perk, they could do 10 generators for the price of one perk slot. Theres only 5 generators in the game. Right now, you can slug a survivor doing a generator in your face with the knowledge that if you pick them up, they DS you. If you dont pick them up then they unbreakable. But at least they arent doing a generator while on the floor. This perk means that not only can they do a gen in your face while injured, but they can take a hit. You can't go up to the gen and slug them, they have borrowed time. You can't hit them because A) they will get away and B) the chase will be a waste of time because they have DS now. It's not going to work. A better idea was from Scott Jund. DS activates after being unhooked for 30 seconds. If you get in a chase in that time, then the timer stops going down. If you start repairing a gen, doing a totem, getting in lockers, healing someone else, get healed, hell even sabo a hook. If you do anything in that time that isn't running away then you lose DS. If you can touch a gen then you arent being tunnelled. If you hide in a locker, you aren't being tunnelled. If you do anything that isnt being healed or running away then you simply arent being tunnelled. Some may say that the killer can just look down to avoid the chase which is true, so my addition would be that you leave no blood trails while its active and you leave no scratch marks for 5 seconds after losing a chase while it is active. That way the killer will have a hard time tunnelling you.
Sorry for the wall of text. Thought I would leave my opinion on this with a reason to why I'm not a fan instead of just saying no or calling you dumb or something like a lot of people do (not calling you dumb btw that was just an example.) Hopefully this educates some people in the flaws of DS lmao

I would say no due to the fact if you combine them then you are freeing up a space to add another 2nd chance perk to the list and honestly that would be hell for killer especially if all 4 survivors are running the exact build. when it comes to survivors perks i believe you have to take into account the scearnio of what happens if all survivors are running it which i think sometimes the devs forget (looking at you desperate measures) and if you combine them then you have to take a look at what will take the free space and how thats going to affect the game, player enjoyment/frustration and balance. so i think if there were going to be any combine perks they are going to be a weakened version of them instead of two seperate very strong perks

To be honest? The came might do better if certain perks on either side would be combined and the entire perk system get overhauled, but that's a different thread.

Oh i agree the perk system needs a overhaul especially the tier system but they need to do that first before even thinking about combining perks i can see alot of issues with doing that but yeah thats a different thread haha
