What's the use of No Mither?
In my low levels (lol) everytime some sad sack comes into my game with this perk they almost always go out right away.
What is the strategy of this perk. It doesnt seem to ever pan out and gives itself away anyway with the medical icon on their little character....

It´s mainly for memeing or a challenge for the extra confident. Niche use for resilience build.
Pair it with Self Care, Object of Obsession and For the people for the ultimate Big Brain Build!
Or just if you enjoy the particular Survivors groans :P

It gives Dead Hard a reason to not get changed.

To troll yourself and your fellow survivors - but mostly your fellow survivors. Mind you this perk was introduced before the broken status was shown on the HUD to all players; but even then, you of course still started the trial injured.. so a killer would just have to pay attention to not leave a No Mither survivor slugged.
3 -
It’s basically a Hard mode perk where you spend the whole game injured. It needs some buffs so it can actually be a meme perk but also be viable.
2 -
In theory you trade the healthy state for the ability to freely get yourself out of the dying state which kind of sounds like a decent trade. In practice, No Mither is so ridiculously obvious that only an idiot killer would leave them slugged so it just doesn't work.

It’s kind of a sarcastic perk, really
Mither means: To make an unnecessary fuss; to moan or bother; to pester or irritate someone
Yet it’s called No Mither
4 -
I jus think it makes altruistic souls feel sad, leaving them to meander about the realms aimlessly cursing the entity for not letting there be proper hospitals nearby to better tend to the severe wounds of these poor, moaning, sarcasticly stubborn, seemingly unhealable creatures😔

Mostly it is just for laughs, sort of a hazing of David players. Nobody says anything and we wait to see how long it takes for them to stop using the insane Perk.
2 -
Since it’s more of a challenge tier perk, adding the feature of mori capability to killer upon being downed a 3rd time would certainly up the ante.

Its the only perk I use whenever I play David, its fun to have the extra pressure sometimes. although it's the only perk Ive been told to kill myself for using by an Ace who killed himself on first hook in a game where the rest of us escaped.
1 -
I tried it out once with Resilience and This Is Not Happening, which gave 9% boost to repairing speed (also healing and unhooking) and 30% larger great skill check zones right from the beginning of the match since you start out injured. It just requires hiding from the killer at all costs.
I admit it probably wouldn't work well against killers that are very good or experienced, but the one and only time I tried it I was able to escape (I don't remember how many others made it out). I was also probably in yellow ranks at the time, so the killer was probably mediocre or even just starting out.

Hard mode.

I just a three players using No Mither, Unbreakable(for faster recovery), Decisive Strike, Soul Gaurd and flashlights. The three of them started the match by running at me and went for flashlight saves every time. The other person worked on gens while I dealt with these idiots. Annoying as it was, I had fun killing them all but that last guy must have thought they were all crazy.
Running No Mither solo might not be a great idea. But with a group, someone could create a distraction in order for you to get up on your own.
If it is run solo, there are a few other perks that could make for an interesting build. Resilience will give you a 9% boost for everything you do. Desperate Measures will always give you at least 28% to healing + 9%. Add that to Botany and you have between 70-98% increase to healing.
You are right though. At beginning levels, the best you can do is add Resilience to the mix. Maybe if you are going for adept to use his stock perks? In the wrong hands and a poor build it should just be called "anchor".

I'm about to try your build! I added Premonition to help with noticing the Killer...I hope I survive!

Well the build was actually pretty fun. I dont know why but the killer tunnneled me off the hook but none of my other mates. Maybe they hate No Mither?? Anyway I had fun. 😊

It's so when you are playing Bill he can always be coughing while smoking his cigarette

My 2nd match with Oni! Is it better to just suicide on hook?? Am Im feeding his power too much???

It's kinda disappointing that it doesn't have a lot of use and would be great if they change/buff it. The "it's hard mode" excuse people often use doesn't really seem valid, it would be so much more fun and interesting if they made this perk worth the cost. We don't have enough (or hardly any now that I think about it) perks that are big pain big gain. I want something to make never being able to heal worth it and not just a hard mode or troll perk
If I could change it I'd do these:
- Change grunt reduction to 100%
- You appear healthy at the start and killer can't see broken icon
- You can press the active ability button while injured and standing still to make yourself appear healthy again
- You don't have the injured music playing all the time
- You aren't actually healthy it's just a façade to deceive the killer, especially if they used an instadown ability/perk or grabbed/found you in a locker they wouldn't know you have it and you can pretend to get healed and be healthy again

Mostly challenge or meme but there is one really fun build with it
No mither, tenacity, mettle of man and breakout/soul guard
When a person get downed go and bodyblock taking the hit by the time the killer finishes the hook/the survivor wiggles out you're long gone and almost up again.
Then at the end you have mom to mess with the killer.
Doesn't always work but fun when it does

Bill is my no mither character ngl. 4 man swf with all running tenacity unbreakable heck yeah.
Also if you pair no mither and iron will it counters stridor
3 -
Nice! Thanks for humoring me. Premonition sounds like a good fourth perk. Anything that helps you keep away from the killer. Too bad you didn't survive.

Think about the phrase in a different way, like David not being mithered by his constant injuries because he's a tough handsome boi (who I definitely don't think is hot with a beard no not at all). Even though he still makes injured sounds... Idk I got nothing.

The purpose of No Mither is to donate blood to Oni so he can murder the rest of your friends. Outside of memes and challenges, don't bring it.

No Mither allows you to immediately take make use of perks such as Resilience or Dead Hard. It also synergizes well with Dying-State perks naturally, and Stealth perks due to its bleeding reduction. It is a very high risk/reward perk that warrants a planned build.

Oh, for sure... Mr. Weird Beard is totally mithering all the other survivors while he himself remains without mither.
David is mitheringly unmithered, I suppose🤔

- it can be used to stop a killer from tunnelling another player. I.e. take a protection hit and the killer is forced to pick you up unless they don’t notice you have No Mither.
- If they don’t pick you up, priority one is attempting to crawl away. The reduced grunts of pain and no blood trails extends to the dying state. If the killer realises their mistake and returns to attempt finding you to pick you up, they’re going to have a much more difficult time finding where you crawled off to without Deerstalker.
- You can walk away from the hook once unhooked, leaving no trace of where you went, unless the killer is close enough to hear your reduced grunts, or they have Stridor.

It's definitely a meme perk. I was playing in a 4 man swf and we thought to all play no mither and ended up going against a Freddy and 3 of us escaped 😂

But let's say the Killer is in a tough situation where he has to slug someone. If he slugs you with No Mither on, it's a lose lose for the Killer, he either picks you up and loses pressure on a certain gen or he slugs you and doesn't get pressure because everyone knows the guy can pick himself up.

I actually really like this perk. I use Iron Will, No Mither, Resilience and Spine Chill quite a lot. I like being able to see the gold progress bar on everything I do, without having to let the killer injure me first. Plus, you don’t have to worry about being exposed by anything, as you’re a one-hit down regardless.
It can also add pressure to the killers that love to slug using Infectious Fright. Do you really want to slug the No Mither? 🌚

Helping the oni get more bloodorbs

No mither + object of obsession + green key = the plz no tunnel build
1 -
I always feel like once the killer finds me if Im using no mither they target/tunnel me every time because Im already injured but maybe Im just imagining it...idk.

Let's tell the truth and shame the devil, No Mither is not a good Perk. In theory, it could be awesome if you run into someone who just slugs, but in application everyone understands and recognizes you have No Mither and isn't going to leave you on the ground unless they are a newbie. All the Perk does is make it so every Killer you face has Insta-Down. :)
