Pallets, Chases and Loops

I play survivor and killer, enjoying both side. And I think we can all agree to the fact that :

Pallet loops are either too short or too long

When I play survivor and i'm being chased, I can find pallets that allows me to keep the killer for 5minutes

Which should not happen and isn't healthy for the game because the chase is too long :

The chased survivor loose too much points in objective and killer in sacrifice

(Yes, the killer could just chase someone else but matchmaking those day... i'm facing a lot of player who have 100-200h... it's frustrating)

And sometimes I find some pallets, and when i drop them... the interaction isn't even finished andthe killer is already on the other side hitting me.

Same experience as a killer, once, a survivor made me run the entire game without really looping. Consequences : I loose points in sacrifice and the others survivors in altruism points (btw, don't tell me to chase someone else because i've tried and they all played the same way)

Pallets should create real chases just like in Léry's Memorial (it is just my though) and not just running in circle like a robot (As a survivor it's getting boring after 2 years x) )

This isn't a discussion to complain but just to talk

I want to hear what the other players of the community think about Pallets and Chases 🙂

I think it is well balanced that sometimes the loops are too short or sometimes a bit OP

Looping is the hardest part of DBD to master and sometimes it is better to give up instead of following a pro looper

DBD devs are improving from time to time the looping paths that are too OP, props to them on that!

Sometimes pallet loops can work. However when they are so long that the killer can't land a hit but the survivor can't run away without running the risk of being hit then we've got a problem as that doesn't benefit anybody.
