The new changes for Chapter 18 are great and all but...
I find it really dumb how the killer will still be pushed for release when a major issue is still going to be present with them. The counter with lockers will still work at launch due to them needing animations so it wont get done in time. That means for the first week(or 2), playing the new killer will be pointless when the biggest issue will still be present with them. Why not hold the chapter off and work on more issues that will eventually be fixed later? Such as transition time, hopefully have victor down the character if they try to kidnap him, etc. I feel like they care more from a business prospective and are pushing an unfinished killer out instead of ironing out the issues

more like until another mid patch so its around month and a half :) after 2 days no one will play him sadly due how weak and sadly counterable they are..

It's pretty clear that BHVR works on a fairly strict schedule for content updates. For them, pushing back content is pushing back profit, and they want the profit. As much as the community might want to see things released when they are truly ready, they operate as a business with a bottom line based on schedule cash injections via content sales. If you look at the video game market as a whole, you will see a LOT of games and content that got pushed out to meet a deadline, satisfy a fiscal quarter, etc, despite not being in a ready state. This is just business as usual in gaming.

I get that and all and I wouldn't be against it if this were the first time this happened. For every PTB, something is either broken, too weak, or unfunctional. Ends up with the killer being changed within the first few weeks, ignoring community concerns ( example the last killer who has had ALL decent add ons it probably the plauge). All im saying if that this has been repeating itself for years

But the most successful games care more about quality. DOOM Eternal got pushed back, as did The Last of Us II, maybe even the new Cyberpunk will be just as amazing. And when fans are raving about a god-tier game, that ends up making much more $$$ than content pushed 'for a deadline'. BHVR should take notes :/

This was my concern as well. When this past PTB launched, it seemed like the list of stuff that wasn't finished or wasn't working yet was more substantial than usual. Now they're basically saying they need to re-work the killer (good), but it won't be ready in time, so they'll launch anyway and... that makes me concerned for the health of the game. From the outside, it really looks like the teams are being rushed to the point where they can't keep up with the schedule.
