So when is spirit gonna get counterplay?
Would genuinely like to know, currently shes absolutely disgusting.

Apparently she had a bug last patch that made her balanced, but they "fixed" it, so I don't think they plan on changing her :(!! But hey, at least we can.... um, we can... we can like, hide in a locker until gens get done? I don't know

spirit is disgustingly good and has no counterplay hence why shes probably the most hated killer

All they need to do is introduce a "glimpse" mechanic to her Power, where every 1-1.5 seconds whilst phasing; you see a faint outline (think invisible Wraith but more clearer) of the Spirit's current location.
This would give survivors a chance to actually do something other than just rely on luck or the Spirit's mistakes.

The bug wasn't even that great, it only effected Spirits that used their power too much. The good ones that know she's insanely fast, only needs to phase for half a second, and could brute force through everything? Yay, counterplay! We got to hear sort of the general direction the sword was hitting us from!
Still, it did highlight that there is a difference between a bad Spirit and a good one. And it was amazingly fun to try and use her breathing to mindgame people...

Going to say you're either facing very weak spirits (low ranks) or you're lying. Even ridiculously good players like Zubat get 'outplayed' half the time because they have genuinely no idea where she is or what she's doing.

She has counter play its called guess work and prediction.
Think of it as a mindgame without walls.

No examples I give you will change your opinion on the matter, nor for anyone else who complains about her 24/7. She has counterplay even good Spirits but you aren't here for that you are here to complain about how unfun and OP she is and how she needs a nerf.

When huntress' hatchets have hitboxes that match their shape. That's when.

Iron will is a god send! also running away putting things in between yourself and her eg window vaults pallets. I use lithe so window vaults are extremely strong for me as well.
She doesn't behave like other killers so you need to adapt to her weakness of not being able to see you while phasing standing still or trying to mind game her is not the way.
I suggest you check out some of tru3talent as a survivors vrsing spirit I learnt a lot from him on how to deal with spirits.

She has counter play. The best one is the Perk: Spine Chill. She homes in on landmarks (normally) and the second you see Spine Chill light up you start moving against a Spirit. Chances are she will arrive where you WERE and be empty-handed. The most effective Spirits I've seen load up on "info" Perks. I fought one using Barbecue & Chili, Nurses Calling, Discordance, and Tinkerer. This allowed her to home in on people in all sorts of areas you wouldn't normally think she could. She didn't need landmarks to find you. Against that build you have to use those Lockers when you see someone about to be hooked. You take your chances healing so you try to time it right, and you keep on the move and wear down her Generators through teamwork and attrition.
Fortunately, super-info Spirit has been rare so far. I probably shouldn't have talked about her at all on the Forum. :) The Spirit is very easy to mind game. Like the Nurse, she WANTS to use that power, even when simply chasing you down old school would be a better choice. If you watch her you can pick up on her hunting pattern. People who run routes on Generators via teleport/haunt/etc. almost always fall into a pattern so they can maximize the speed of it. The Spirit is particularly vulnerable to this as she has to cross the distance flying around. The Spirit finds what appears to be the fastest route and tends to repeat it.

A killer who cant see survivors and has to rely on sound or survivor scratch marks is stupid op because thinking is HUUURRRDDDDD

Jund the Scott says there are 0 counter plays to spireh. He even has an open challenge for a survivor to prove him wrong

Well, I don't play Survivor on his level, but I can tell you I'd rather fight a Spirit than a Pig or a Ghostface. I do very well against the Spirit, at least so far in my own weight class. The lowest I've gotten as a Survivor is Rank-6 so far. I can't address whether or not it is possible to counter a Red Rank Spirit because I haven't fought one yet.
That being said, I fight Spirits with Spine Chill. The second I see it light up when I know I'm against Spirit I start walking a short bit and then run. I do this so when she arrives there is no clear indication of where I went. So far, it has worked just fine for me.

Dont you know? The counterplay are completely skillbased mindgames! Where the Spirit knows all the time where you are, while you dont know where she is. Great, eh? Just use Iron Will, 5head. Its not like it gets countered completely by Stridor. :^)
On a side note, does she have footsteps when phasing? Luckily I dont get many Spirits anymore.
But I am pretty sure that she will get Nerfs. There is no way that Billy gets a Nerf but Spirit remains as she is forever. Good DBD-Streamers, even Killer Mains, say that she is not ok. Not that this matters that much to BHVR, but I highly doubt that nothing will happen. (It will take a while, tho)

The devs won't even post their kill metrics, because after the last one they owned up to their '2escape, 2 kill' and FINALLY had to give something back to survivors because killers were well above 2 kills at that point. The collective killer community absolutely NERD raged at that time and so the devs folded like wet paper.
The point being, don't expect any legitimate push back on OP killers.

She was nerfed a bit secretly, her footsteps can be heard a bit easier now, and for some reason the movement of grass is a bit more obvious now. She still needs a nerf tho, I rarely ever notice these things.

I've seen a lot of bad Nurse players, does that mean Nurse isn't "too good"? Obviously not. She's still the best killer in the game.
When I'm annoyed by Spirit, slapping on Iron Will isn't going to help me because of a fairly popular perk among Spirit players called Stridor.
Nurse's counters are stealth and LoS breaking.
What are Spirit's?
If you are injured, there aren't any realistic counters. Even if you're not, there still aren't any realistic counters.

People,be like "JuSt WaLk" but then there are sounds when you move grass,slowly vault a pallet + swamp and red forest maps as well :]

or the usual "JuSt SlAp oN IrOn WiLl" argument when stridor exists. lets not forget you can still be heard breathing, grass moving, footsteps, scratch marks ect.
Shouldnt need a perk just to counter one killer, thats like people saying "Put on well make it to counter oni" or sum shi

She makes footstep sounds but that doesn't matter at all since you can't do anything with that information.
I hear her footsteps approaching. Cool. Now I can walk and get hit or run and get hit.

Yeah,i would say it's pretty bad design that 1 perk kinda hard counters a killer but is required to have some kind of chance against this killer

Just being Iron Will and Quick and Quiet, change your meta build and you'll ser she's not that strong

Hearing the Spirit when she is close to you isn't even helpful considering she can also hear you and will most likely smack you.
