I personally don't think the fit is very good, but I wouldn't have been against it if a lot of the fans of FNAF hadn't been so obnoxious about getting it.
Just because of that it's a no for me.

I see it as a game that despite not being intended for kids, is played by mostly children. It is seen by most as a children's game too. That's personally why I don't see a fit.

As someone who's more invested in the lore of the games rather than the fanbase... Shudder.
I gotta say, the idea of Springtrap being in DBD is definitely one that could work well, given the prominent quote by Afton, claiming that "I always come back!", and the fact that Springtrap already survived being burned in FNaF 3 before making his re-debut in Freddy's Pizzeria Simulator as "Afton".

1) I think the atmospheres are completely different and wouldn't work. Dbd is slasher, fnaf is atmospheric jumpscares.
2) After all the posts I don't want it in the game simply out of spite.

also @Gamergirl69OWO How long have yoou been on the forums? thing is Fnaf and Spring trap is quite a hated subject here on the forums sadly, some group of idiots thought it was a good idea and spammed it constantly, so talking about Fnaf here on the forums must be treaded lightly, unless your one of those spammers.

Only if it was Springtrap, he's basically the only truly honorific looking animatronic that isn't a hallucination. 7 ft tall rotting corps in a robot suit, seems kind of spooky to me, the since he's one of those slashy type killers, he'd have some kind of stalk power, which we don't really need more of, unless it's really diffrent/

I would not mind if they done it right but only Springtrap and no other dang Fnaf character but also have the fnaf 3 map which in end game burns down.
I love the idea but lot of people prob killed his chance when they kept spamming WE WANT SPRINGTRAP so most likely if we do get him it wont be for a long time since if they do it sometime people will think spamming a characters name will get them in the game.

I would personally bring in Foxy sense he is the only one in the game to sprint. Maybe a perk called Bucket Of Bolts where he could trap gens that could blind them similar to a flashlight or firecracker for a few seconds. it could be useful for those survivors that loop around tapping the gen you kick while they loop. Maybe his power could be some form of tackle that grabs survivors and rushes with them if they hit a wall or something they get damaged by 1 health state. or if your lucky and ram them into a hook they get insta-hooked.

Honestly I'm down for it. At first I was against it because it's just popular because it was a huge trend at one time, but Springtrap is cool enough a killer for me, especially if it comes with a FNAF 3 map.

If you could make them fun and give them good perks I couldn't give less of a ######### where the characters are from. But fnaf would imply we'd be getting yet another indoor map.

On another note I really feel like it would be better Idea if FnaF DLC was about the upcoming Security breach game, with Vanny/Vanessa as killer and survivor. I think it would fit better than Springtrap, as much as an iconic character he is.

I hated when that happened, I knew it would kill the love for the character, and as someone who wants to see it happen, it was just sad that people acted so ######### childish.
I made a while back, I explained that Fnaf is the game that got me to love horror, it is what started it for me, and I wish it didn't get the reputation it got, but I understand that people have major love for the games. I just wish that stops. I still do want Springtrap in DBD and I'm still hopeful but I get that people will not fully like the idea, I really wish more people who want him in the game could make an explanation

Yeah he did mention that, and I can see why, but I agree maybe further on down the line but maybe not now, but I would hope it isn't more then two or three years before that happens

I've honestly questioned the said sanity of the creator of those abominations at times
He did say that, like he allowed Fnaf themed merch on Funko, and for Markiplier's Clothing company one time ( I'm sad I didn't get anything). However he is quite secretive on what goes on which I can understand, so maybe Scott and the Devs might have talked about it. We won't know until a Fnaf chapter does come out.

I wouldn't be against having fnaf be a theme for a future chapter. But I don't think they ever will be.

I think if they just made them legendary skins for Legion; one for each of the members, it would work better than making them their own killer. Fnaf characters mangle you when they catch you.I say legendary because they could give them mechanical noises with some sputtering sparks and smoke when they run in frenzy mode. Their vault animation would be unique as well.
I don't see the harm in skins. I mean, saying they don't belong then we have the mascot costumes in the game already (which are some of the most popular cosmetics on those characters mind you) don't belong either.
All that said; it will never happen. If it could though, that is how I would go about it is all.
Edit: Also as legendary skins they wouldn't even be that common.

FNaF is more of a kid targeted IP anyway. Springtrap isn't a well known character in horror too.
