What the hell are you doing Bhvr?
You release a super buggy patch where most perks dont even work, didnt fix bugs that were ON THE PTB IN THE FIRST PLACE, and relased an unfinsihed killer who was having issues and you didn't even seem to make the changes you said you would be making.
Dont release the patch or update, just stop, give it time to fix and make changes that are needed, because this is juat unacceptable, even for your standrads.

I wonder if anything is influenced by some of their investors from overseas or otherwise. I just don't think this was done by choice, I have a feeling they were strong armed into pushing DLC to meet some tight deadline for the sake of trying to meet some quarterly requirement.
That or maybe they are just all getting tired of working on the same game for so long? I mean we know the engine is beyond buggy and probably frustrating, maybe it's just starting to run it's toll? Add a pandemic pandemic going on and that they operate in western canada where that is at an all time high (For Canada anyways). I am sure that has been causing disorder at the studios; which is very understandable. The lack of communication and online presence less so, but the development being hindered more than usual would make total sense.
Anyways those are my thoughts on it, because I think the devs are aware and would not want to release something in this condition, so I really think they are just not being given the time they need to do things properly....

A patch coming out this bad is very pathetic. Many games bigger and smaller don't make this big of a mess everytime they do anything.

The devs specifically bought themselves out from under Starbreezre as publisher so that they would regain control of their production and their release deadlines. Starbreezre was given a lot of blame for buggy, unfinished content being rushed out the door.
Of course, a side benefit is that BHVR doesn't have to share the money with a publisher.
If they bought themselves out of Starbreeze so they wouldn't be rushed to release broken content ever again.... Well, it didn't work.
