Fruit Cake Codes
Well, I've accepted that I'll never have this charm.
Big props to the "no more exclusives" stance that BHVR has taken - It's really helped make the game a better place and I know that they'll stick to their word.
I just don't have it in me to hunch over various Twitch streams waiting for a code to drop that is already used up by the time I can type it in :-/

Buddy, it was next to complicated in order to get the Dwight crow, not I even I could get it. So no not everyone has a fair chance

If you are unable to enter the 20+ characters fast enough...you are EXCLUDED from ever owning the charm.
With the lowest streams having 3-400 people, and each code limited to 10 uses, you have, at best, a 3% chance at getting each individual code if you can type fast enough. If you can't type fast enough, your chances are literally 0%.

I actually just got one.
The process is still straight up garbage, and it's limiting people from a very niche holiday charm.
Please stop doing this in the future - PLEASE

Are we really going for exclusive charms now? I can’t remember the last time I equipped a charm. They’re pointless.

I HATE the system as well.
but even I got the Dwight charm.
try later in the event when more people already got theirs, find a streamer with less viewers, maybe even foreign language.
some even gave the last digits/letters of the code later so everybody got a chance regardless of console or something else.

I got it first try and I play on Xbox. Find a low number streamer on twitch who gives everyone time to type in the code and then they give out the last 2-3 digits. Easy peasy

Not to mention trying to key it all in on console...
takes over a minute to enter these ridiculously lengthy codes😔

I can't imagine the monotony of trying code after code on console, all while wasting your time in streams you may not be interested in :(

I get the frustration of the long code, I really do - that's especially a nightmare on console.
However, Twitch drops isn't exactly a new thing and has been happening with many games on Twitch for a long time now and this is not really any different to that. So I do fail to see why there's such a big issue over this. It's purely optional, those that want the charm can watch a stream and with the amount of codes are pretty much guaranteed to get one at some point and those that don't want the charm do not have to participate.

I don't think there's really any comparison between punching in a 20+ in competition against others vs idling in a chat and having an equal chance at a drop.

I had rather be playing the game than watching someone else play. They should just pop special codes at random hours during the day, that way if you are playing their game you can get the code.

Yeah, stayed up to watch a streamer for four hours and no code... the horror lol

They could easily make it 50 uses per code but didn't/don't. Instead they artificially limit it wasting everyone's time watching, typing codes, and NOT playing, since you can't be in a game or lobby to redeem it. But in typical BHVR fashion they'll either completely ignore the feedback, or take until the next ice age to change it.

I want those charms but I'm not available to sit down and watch people's streams whenever I want. There are real life responsibilities, so unless you have no life, it will be extremely hard to get them

I mean im busy too...so i just found a streamer with a small viewer count who was doin codes..that helped along with not as many have a ps5 so i was able to snag one pretty easy on 1st go around

Ya'll are pointing to a circle and calling it a square, time/use limited codes for 5K blood points would be no big deal, but these are collectibles that people are being baited with which is not OK,

Yeah, the most annoying thing about the exclusive codes is how it goes back on what they said about exclusivity items to begin with.
I'd like the Fruit Cake charm, but I refuse to slum over hours of content of streamers I do not enjoy, for little to no chance of getting the charm.
It's even worse by how the fog whisperer abuse it to high-heaven, every video and stream always has the "Omg codes!!" In them but never always does.
