It´s actually the root cause. When there is a perfect balance of survivor to killer ratio, both sides have almost instant lobbies.
Whenever 1 side has a longer queue than the other, then the ratio is off. To much people trying to play that specific side.
Only when both sides have long queues (on equal ranks) then, the servers have a problem.

That's what it should be like, but the fact that matchmaking is broken atm and ranks are mixing is what's creating a large amount of the problems cause at low ranks, ques are exactly opposite.

No, the matchmaking is doing what it can to give players a fast queue. It ignores rank (and maybe region to a certain point) so people don´t have to wait due to the massive imbalance in regard of killer survivor ratio.

I'm not sure if somebody has already suggested this, but use repressed alliance! I've recently started to use this because basically every single killers plays ruin + undying. The generator doesn't regress while repressed alliance is being used, so if the killer comes over or if you have to get off the generator to help a teammate then use repressed alliance.

Avoid survivors that have been rescued within the last 60 seconds, and don't slug anyone. They will never get to use their perks on me. Also please bring BT because you're guaranteed to not get any use out of it. So 75% of their perks are useless against me. Yeah I realize that for some killers they feel it is necessary to slug, camp or tunnel. I just don't.

Since the release of undying, I’ve played against ruin+undying 3 times, at rank 1... and it’s not that hard to counter lol. Do something other than hold a button on a gen and it’ll work out

I can't have fun using other hex perks because in every trial the survivors immediately assume I have Undying/Ruin.

So , you complain about undying + ruin AND camping? If the killer camps, Ruin does nothing. You just finish your gen, and go for the unhook then. Only if you are greedy for the unhook points you let alone your gen. Also, its just 5 totems, easily done. Just do them all, not just the hex totem, as then the hex cant be transfered to a totem you already destroyed.

This is silly. I'm sorry, but if the Survivors all "assume" you have it, take advantage of that. Run Haunted Ground and Undying for a laugh (or just the Haunted Ground). Use Pop and Oppression for your Generator regression, and throw in an Info Perk and you are ready to go. You don't have to run anything. You CHOOSE to run this or that.

The problem is undying the perk is too good. The perk need a nerf, limit the detection to hex totem when is cleaing by a survivor. For survivor ds is to ez to abuse. But the real problem is the lvl of skill of players. Both survivor and killer 80% are complete trash and need perk to do decent. Dev Don't wanna touch the game to make more different into low and high skill players. In this states if the game perk make more similar the skill if play. If ds and undying rework low skill players will get stomped

No, it doesn't need a Nerf. It already had one following the play testing. It used to be able to move itself too. :) The Perk is fine, and lots of people deal with it every day without much problem.

I DO choose to run what I must. Even as a killer, limiting two perk slots to only Ruin and Undying is boring in itself. I for one enjoy some variety.

Well I don't know what to tell you. I know a LOT of Killers that do not run those two and do just fine. Will you need some kind of anti-Gen Perk(s)? Yes. Does it always have to be those? No.

9/10 games are Ruin/Undying
and 10/10 Solo matches begin with random survivors starting their gens w/o first checking for ruin, then continuing on through the match after being chased off their now regressing gens, w/o attempting to cleanse any totems. smh

No. This is horrific advice. I wish people would stop saying to do this; it's throwing the game.
The true response should be 'get a swf and split up on gens and you'll be fine.'

Yes, just allow survivors to have 3 perks that make them invincible each time they are taken off hook. The horrible thing is the best choice if you think someone has this perk combo is too pick them up so you can at least get rid of DS. Which is a problem, as there is no counterplay, nor even any mitigation. Theres also the fact things get crazy and it can be hard to keep track of who has been unhooked when you are suddenly swarmed by three survivors after finding one who was not hooked. Or just pulling someone off a gen after hooking another survivor. Or getting DSed by someone who is full health because they dove into a locker even though you didn't tunnel them.
