Blindness and hemorrhage should really be buffed

Status effects such as blindness and hemorrhage are too weak for the most part and don't really have a use.

Even having everyone blind is meh. I am going to just list a bunch of rough ideas that they can do to help the killer and hinder the survivors. Also, the changes or buffs that I come up with will probably not be the best, but these status effects should just have something more to them.

Feel free to add your own ideas below.

Blindness changes:

Allow blindness to not only get rid of the auras that survivors can see, but also make it very difficult to impossible to see past 32 - 40 meters. Use fog to blur out everything, this way if a survivor is blind against idk an Oni on an open map such as an auto haven map or Ormond they can't keep their eye on the killer as often. Almost giving semi stealth to killers without it. This shouldn't affect the killer. This should have any addons that blind survivors be buffed accordingly to at least 1 minute and 30 seconds at most or permanently until survivors cleanse H: TTS. Imagine seeing a hatchet hurled at you from thick fog or a Myers walking through. Even a billy running at you with a chainsaw. I think this would add a more horrifying aspect to the game.

As for hemorrhage, it should make survivors suffer from the hindered status effect when being injured for over a minute and a half - 2 minutes on top of making survivors bleed more often. This should only not take effect against someone using no mither. This would make anything that makes survivors suffer from the broken status effect more useful since it would practically force them to heal which makes survivors have to work together to heal more often. It would also disregard the ultimate strategy as survivors to not heal while spreading out on gens and holding m1. This one is a bit scary to implement because we are messing with movement speed.

What do you think? I don't think the second one is the best and could probably be tweaked, but the blindness change could be very threatening if used right.

I generaly agree that Blindness and Hermorrhage are very underwhelming effects. Yet they keep being tied to rare or above expensive killer add-ons with often very short duration and I can't figure out why. They just feel like filler effects for when they have no more interesting ideas for add-ons and they design them weak on purpose to avoid any imaginabe abuse, just in case.

But making any change to Blindness and Hemorrhage at that point would mean having to look at and rebalance all add-ons and perks that deal thoses effects. Thats a lot of work if you want it done right. And since its not exactly a hot issue, I very much doubt its going to happen any time soon, sadly.

Altough one quick and easy fix to make most of theses add-ons more appealing woud simply be to give them decent durations. 30 seconds of Blindness is pointless, 60 is very short, but 90 or even 120 ? That might actually do something. Not much, because its still Blindness, but survivors migth be vaguely inconvenienced by it instead of not even noticing it happening.

My take on improving these status would be that for Blindness it actually obscures vision (like clown gas but not as strong)

For Haemorrhage it should make pain noises louder/more frequent, making it partly mitigate Iron Will effect. Having experienced haemorrhaging IRL I can say you for sure cannot run and stay silent. Even walking is complete agony.

Nothing drastic but would make them actually have an impact
