Flashlights working on back of head

Flashlights atm are working on a killer even on the back of their head.

Survivors being able to blind killers from barmy angles is a known issue, and has been a known issue for more than a year now. Do you know for a fact the survivor was behind you, did you hear the click of the flashlight form behind?

I was facing a wall in both instances that i've seen. One however I was facing a locker not a wall, and it went through the locker from outside the shack door, I was between the two lockers facing the wall and could only see the survivor from my viewpoint, I couldn't even see the flashlight they had.
Also when watching from survivor side I often see them start to shine it on a killer's face but the killer turns away and is blinded later on. Once it starts you can't seem to avoid it sometimes, dunno if it is latency or what, it was bad before but it wasn't this bad until the last major update.

Just gonna have to add this to the grocery list of thing the DBD team has to fix, good luck in your matches. Also, I like your name, sounds like a boss enemy you'd see in a Final Fantasy game.

I almost had a video but shadowplay didn't record far enough back I should have been quicker on the draw but I was so frustrated at the time I wasn't thinking about that.
I may test it some in a custom game with a friend later and make videos of it. Because we hit some killers ourselves as survivor with it today and it felt wrong. They would see it, turn away, and THEN get blinded like 2 seconds later. Not like 2 seconds after success, like the beam would focus on them after they turned.

Pretty sure I've experienced this as killer, where I turn away and still get blinded a couple seconds later. Ever since dedicated servers went live, I've just had to start putting Lightborn on every kill who has it to avoid the frustration of not being able to counter this nonsense.

yeah rn cause of ping u get blinded for some milliseconds even after u look away
not really that big of a problem. just dedicated server issue
same problem with dead hard

Happened to me but probably won’t get fixed like most things in this game.
