Grunts of pain are OP
A great part of this game relies on the idea of trying to escape and hide from the killer. This is very nice but in order to do that by hiding you have to have Iron will glued on your character 100% of the time.(the perk that stops you from doing grunts of pain). If you don't, as soon as you get smacked one time by the killer it's pretty much game over without pallets/looping, and that takes some amount of skill to do.
My idea would be to make the grunts harder to hear or make the sound omnidirectional. That way survivors will be able to hide in a chase more often. This may even be good for the game overall, since the favored metagame for survivors wouldn't be so focused on pallet looping anymore.
What do you guys think?

I don't think the grunts of pain should change. That's the risk you take not using Iron Will. The big problem is Stridor. I don't know what carrot stick made the suggestion and what bumbling fool at BVHR gave it a greenlight to completely negate Iron Will. There's plenty of perks on both sides that, if conditions aren't optimal, are useless.
When I use Calm Spirit and Iron Will in tandem I can often get the killer off my tail. Like any build, when you use it long enough it gets boring.

The problem is that you can`t play stealth after you get hit one time without losing a perk slot. Stealth is not an option unless you have Iron will equipped.
I am not saying to not leave any kind of penalty for beeing injured. I`m saying that it could be improved so that stealth may be a very viable strategy.

Is this a sarcastic post?

I think it adds to the very limited realistic aspects of this game. Realistically if you've been injured badly you're not going to be silent. But honestly sounds have been bugged for so long so sometimes you just get iron will for free lol.
