I don't think they can programme something to help with this. It'd because swf arw killing the game off.
We're hoping next uodate will brijg better matches. I'm as annoyed as you are with how this matchmaking is done.

It groups of 2 3 or 4 players in the same lobby using communications to win the game.

i could of figured that out on my own, i doubt its the only game people do that in, i do it in Hunt so...it makes sense.

The main reason people raise it as an issue in DBD is that it can often completely negate some killers powers (especially if someone on comms is using the object of obsession perk, which allows the user and killer to see each others aura when the user looks in their direction, outside of the terror radius), such as Trapper or Hag, or even Nurse, as she has little to no gen pressure within a chase! It furthermore allows them to coordinate gen locations (to prevent three genning) and rescues (against face campers desperate for a kill most often).
I will say it does give survivors a head start and the killer a disadvantage, but I personally do not propose it as a major issue unless of course, the mm does you like you've been getting. I'd suggest play as much as you can, especially with the new MMR system coming, if you dont get lots of games out you'll just be forced against red rank SWFs who have a high win streak (which you would also have if you don't play lots, due to being new, as MMRs generally start at 100%, much like school attendance!).

I don't think SWF is killing the game. If anything I think it is a large draw. I certainly feel more like playing after 5:00PM when my friends are online.
What ISN'T fair is those SWF facing people in brown ranks.

i play casually, but the problem is even though im ranking up i still go against very skilled survivors that are next to impossible to catch, even when i do, i can almost never hook them a second time or third, unless I go all out focusing on that one person, and by the time i get them sac'd, all gens are repaired, that is what makes it ridiculous.

I very rarely have fun on Dead by Daylight anymore..
I am a PS5 Gamer and in my opinion the game has been ruined since cross play was introduced!
I can't even get a match if I turn cross play off lmao!
As a Survivor main at least 80 percent of my games are ruined by team players (Mainly PC Players) who do not play the game accordingly.
- Random Disconnection/Rage quitting/Dying purposely on hook..
- Unfair match making.. I am rank 1-3 every month yet I get matched with team players who are rank 8-15 on average & we are against a rank 1 killer.. 'Great match making developers'
- Walking around the map doing nothing - dropping pallets on purpose - baiting you out so the killer can get you & so on!
- Working with the killer..
- Standing still and doing nothing the entire game..
- Cheating/Hacks such as speed cheats & health cheats & so on..
The list goes on and on and on..
The reporting system is a joke and so are the 'so called developers'
Harsher punishments need to be handed out to the snowflakes ruining the game!
Dead by Daylight was much more fun back in the day but now it is ruined in so many ways and the developers don't care or don't have the backbone to fix these problems!

The fun games, with lots of challenging chase interactions are a minority for me too. When i play survivor(rank 1-2) i get matched against a competent killer about 50% of the time is my guess, so it is about half the matches you afk the gens or loop a killer that doesnt know how to loop.
As rank 1-2 Killer i very rarly get a competent team of survivor (maybe like 10%) Most of the time there are two red rank that know how to loop and the other two are not good. Often even 3 players are not really good. It feels i play against bots and i feel sorry for them. I have ended a lot of games with 5 gens up and everyone dead on 1st hook or something similar or i need to search the whole map because the survivor are so afraid and hide in some corner. it feels like a complete waste of time and i feel bad about it, because it is unfair to play against people that have played way less hours than yourself.
And then survivor queues seem to be very long lately and sometimes i get on a server with yellow ping. So i need to wait for a few minutes and then leave the lobby, because looping with a yellow ping is pointless. And most killermatches are boring because they are not even remotly even.
Therefor i am currently not really enjoying myself either.

yup i dont have all of the issues you are having but i do have some of them and they are very frustrating however I think the worst frustration Ive had while playing is being a low rank killer going against like professional top ladder players who can just dodge and juke me with ease, and than stand in front of a hook when i finally get someone, like i doubt that was part of the devs plan having a person standing in front of a hook to prevent you from hooking a player and at the end of the game they taunt me because they know how good they are and how bad i am. like that is very unsportsmanlike

ive had some of what you describe, though my most hated times are when im playing as a killer and the survivors are just taunting me because they know they are good and at the top of the rank ladder where as im a killer at the bottom of it. Than when i do catch someone they stand in front of the hooks so that i cant hook anyone, very frustrating and i highly doubt the devs intended for this.
