Short male, tall female
Am I the only one that has noticed that all the male survivors are pretty tall while the females are short? I know it kind of makes sense because when it comes to humans, guys are usually taller. I started to think about this because I'm a very short guy.
I would actually love to see a short male and a tall female as survivors 😅

The thing is that every male survivor is based on the Dwight model and every female based on the Meg model. And they can’t stray too far off the models.
i don’t know if it if feasible but I hope they will make a male based on Meg and/or a female based on Dwight, without making them too androgynous. Looking at the different proportions of the current roster it should be possible.

I hope they do this soon. I would love more variety in the current survivor body types

More body types would be amazing, I'm also not a fan of the fact that all male survivors are all of average build or above, I'd love to see some skinny guys.

True but they are around the same height. Having a tall muscular female for example would be interesting

I would prefer obese/fat male.

I look for these women in every game I play in, and they are ultra rare. Fit shaming is a very real thing. My wife, who lifts, deals with it constantly. The kinds of comments you can throw at swole women that are socially acceptable is nauseating.
Then there are the people that think a girl is "ripped" because she has the faintest outline of abs. If you showed them a picture of Kristen Nun they'd lose their freaking minds.

That's because video games are almost always have their characters be conventionally attractive. Most games won't have a fat guy because most people aren't attracted to it. The same with overly muscular women. As far as irl, people need to mind their own business and stop shaming people for what they look like.

It's weird and unnatural for them to all be the exact same height. I don't think it would hurt for them to just lower the height on some male models and increase the height on some female models.

They actually do that already
Feng Min is for example one of the shortest females and I think Laurie is pretty tall.
Jeff and Adam are 2 of the tallest males while Dwight is pretty small.

If there are differences, they're very minimal. These are the survivors models all lined up right next to each other.

Pretty sure that’s not how they are portrayed in game. At least in the lobby you can see differences in height.

I wouldn’t be so sure. There are definitely different comparison images using the in game models, just like the one you posted, but those show different heights. But there are also contradicting ones so I don’t know which one to believe.
never made a direct comparison in game either, but it definitely feels like they have different heights..

I asked CozyChicken who is a 3D artist and animator who makes DBD content about it on Twitter and he said all the males are the same height as are the females. I asked him about the photos that suggest differently such as the one I provided here and he said those are inaccurate.

There's a reason why I mainly use female survivors -- I stealth and I need the height.

There are two skeletons, one for male survivors and one for female survivors. Thats why it feels clunky playing male survivors when you usually play female.
Also being tall is a disadvantage in this game.

I agree with this. I have an excellent Idea: Lets make Claudette REEEEEAAAAALLY friggin tall so she can't hide in the shadows like Batman anymore.

Yep cause you can't squat as far down as the 5'9s and might peek out of a carhood. Plus huntress and plague exist so there's projectiles to worry about.

Honestly this has bothered me for so goddamn long! all the males are the same height and all the females are the same height, its very unrealistic and looks weird. I'd love to see a female with a strong build and since some people seem to be interested potentially a guy who is overweight / obese. It would make the game look more realistic and more interesting in my opinion.

I'd like to see this, too! I'd also like to see everyone's arms lengthened. Anyone ever noticed that everyone's arms are too short?
