Regarding rank changes for blood point rewards.
For those not in the know, in a future patch rank will no longer be tied to who you're matched up with and will instead give "end of the month" rewards Rank 1 being a paltry 250K BP.
This is going to be counter productive to the player base... Once someone hits Rank 1 that means you quit playing that side for the month to hold rank to get your garbage 250K BP...
So what's the proposal? Considering rank will no longer be tied to match making where's the logic in losing rank any more?
Basically what I'm saying is, once you hit Rank 1 there's no point in continuing to play for the rest of the month out of fear of losing your end of month reward...
This wasn't well thought out at all... I feel like we shouldn't even lose pips anymore, only gain... seeing as people will just hit Rank 1 and stop playing to hold rank. This is going to be detrimental to queue times if everyone just stops playing because they reached their own personal goal for the month.

You don't lose the points if you drop rank, they said it'll give you points for the highest rank you got through the whole season [even if it's not your final rank]

So you're saying since 2016 to today, all the red rank players out there have continued to play regularly without rank rewards.. but now that there is a reward, they will have incentive to just stop?

I know it's easy to pip and reach red ranks, but I wish the rewards could be better. I will have wait a whole month just to get 500k of BPs(total from both sides), while in 1 day of playing, I can get 1.000.000 without any problem with ma BBQ.
It's not like we don't have 6 PAGES OF PERKS (while 90% of the perks being useless in the level of Monstrous Shrine or Flip-flop), but also we have to get the same perk THREE TIMES, and then do it all again for all characters because... this game is dumb.

What I'm saying and the way you're interpriting it are two different things evidently.
I'm actually thinking about players who struggle to reach high ranks because that's actually a thing, despite what people with no lives who play this game 24 / 7 on disability or welfare think. :)
Just to clarify, it's a hypothetical that someone who has trouble holding rank could potentially just stop playing once they reach a goal rank, so that they would reap the benefits of the end of month reward. However Endorb clarified that the game logs your highest rank earned for the month and bases the reward on that, not your final rank.
Your logic on the situation is flawed btw, there's literally been no incentive to keep rank until now, so yes; people WOULD continue to play the game, regardless of rank, from 2016 until now. Until now gaining / losing rank meant absolutely nothing, so who cares if you continue to play and pip or de-pip?
For a second I thought there might be some stake in rank after the inclusion of this rank rewards B.S. but it turns out, it really doesn't mean jack either.
