Bar b que and chill - is it OP?

using w + shift is op and toxic change my mind

It's not op, its merely a BP farming perk

If they removed the extra BP token effect from BBQ and strapped it on monstrous shrine, lots of killers would use MS instead. BBQ tracking is not OP.

There's the rework to Monstrous Shrine we've been looking for!
"For each person sacrificed in the basement, the player receives a 25% BP bonus given at the end of the trial".
You'd definitely see some MS builds then, lol. Basement Bubbas, Hags, and Trappers everywhere!

BBQ is a crutch, Keys are fine.

That guy definitely doesn't play killer.

You know you can also bait BBQnC right? Run one way for 4 seconds then run the other way.

Its probably not bait a lot of people are stupid and don't realize that BBQ helps them, theres a reason it gives BP. Its because even killers that dont get much use out of it and get lured away from the hook. You take away bbq, you get MORE camping from the remaining killer mains
Its for that reason that this is the one thing the devs will not listen to survivor mains on, they're like kids trying to burn themselves on the stove

Not really. It does allow effective gen pressure though by letting you chain hooks especially on high mobility killers like Hillbilly.
There still is counterplay like hiding behind a gen, lockers, faking what direction you're headed in, distortion, etc.
I don't think the sole reason people run it is for the extra BP. I do think the extra BP (both for BBQ and WGLF) should be made base-kit and BBQ should just be the aura reveal after a hook. Maybe less people would run it since there's less incentive + it would help with the grind.

For bloodpoints, oh dear lord, yes, yes, yes.
In terms of the aura reading, it's strong, but it's so ubiquitous that survivors anticipate its reading, which can be counterproductive if it gives you deceptive information (or lack thereof). It's also hard to capitalize on such a large, unrefined amount of crude information, especially if all the survivors are far away.

Right now "Barbie and Queue" are pretty bad.

lol no on most m1 killers you'll be gone or by a pallet by the time they walk over there and then you're safe.
It was only ever op on a good Nurse or a good ranged nurse. They'd land on you in seconds and make short work of you with little you could do to defend yourself.
Perhaps there's an argument to be made for how quickly billy or freddy can get to you but beyond that the aura reading side of it is actually kinda weak imo and on most killers stretching yourself across the map hook after hook is actually really bad for you as all that crossing the map buys the survivors a lot of repair time.

BBQ isn't broken. Anyone with half a brain knows that if it goes off, it only shows survivors who are far enough away. If you hide close to the hook, or if its a small indoor map, you won't get caught. My advice run Distortion or just be brave and head towards downed survivors.

Because the main allure of playing killer is from the bloodpoints. Without the BP bonus, there'd even be less killers than there are now, and there's not even enough now to balance queue times.
It's not that it's powerful that killers like it. The reason killers would leave is because if a perk that has SO MUCH COUNTERPLAY, like BBQ, gets nerfed, because survivors ######### about it as they do everything they don't want to adapt to, there's truly no hope for DBD.

BBQ is only good for bloodpoints change my mind.
