Seriously though. Why is there not a super sized man or woman in DbD? And before someone says it Jane is just thick.

It could be balanced, you could be slower at running, but the Killer would only be able to walk 5m before they drop you, so you'd be trickier to hook.

Imagine the perk synergy with boil over! Try and hook me now, Freddy

The one thing I miss about the previous DS is that it would be the perfect perk to represent a Killer trying to pick up a fat person only to throw their back because the Survivor's too heavy.

Also Deliverance because the Survivor is still too heavy.

Um the first guy said lol.

Men and women who are overweight are slower and do worse in chases. So those unlucky people who are overweight and go into to entity's realm would just die over and over again because they can't outrun the killer and the entity feeds off of hope so overweight people would give the entity no hope as each game would only end in death everytime.

For like 9 years I was working dead end jobs that only gave me a 30 min lunch break. That greatly limits what you can eat. For 9 years I had Mcdonalds and Wawa 3-5 times a week -.- I was too lazy to make my own food for work and even if I did. Someone would see it sitting in the fridge and steal it.

People in this chat unintentionally be like "There is 3 body types: underweight, normal, and morbidly obese" sheesh.

But yeah, new model(s), potential colision issues, it's asking a lot for this particular game to have different body types reflected. I do wish they tried to play a bit more with what we had, but their models are probably too rigid to do more than resize them. It's why survivors only have 1 facial expression and some very simple mouth animations.

The first guy with the video makes a good point, and Endorb made a few good points of it can cause problems with hitboxes which are already broken and more bugs. Also, all survivors and killers are made off a base model already; the female one is Meg Thomas, i can't remember what the male one is (Jake or Dwight) and then Killer i believe is Trapper.

This can also cause problems with lockers and hooks.

Damn, yeah. The lockers are super prohibitive about how large the survivors can be. If the survivor's too big, they'd clip right through it. And the devs are not going to redo lockers (changing their size would mean a lot of work on each map) just to create a larger character model that's going to be a pain in their ass in terms of hitboxes and animations and all that.

Jane was actually glitchy when she came out, and she's just "thick" apparently. I can't imagine the problems that would come with a larger character.

I get what you mean. I've always had a problem with being underweight (I don't enjoy eating and can just mentally block hunger) but my brother is the opposite, he eats due to boredom. He's on the large side right now and hates it. He eats healthier than I do, works a more physically intensive job with longer hours and even does more Cardio exercise than me and is still on the larger side and it brings him down. It could be like your situation that he's depressed as he has trouble with money and is still living at home in a tiny room at 26.

But yeah I agree with everyone else. Having anyone larger than Jeff (who iirc has a bit of a beer belly) would be a little on the "pushing it" side. I'm glad they've branched out a bit from skinny girl body types but I think going further than Jane who's on the curvy side would be too much. It would also look absolutely hilarious when they would Sprint burst away. It's already silly how the survivors can consistently fast vault those windows without keeling over and dying after the 5-6th time.
