Gen Grab bug since 2019 ######### Behavior
Ok so this has been said awhile ago and not really much since but the grab animation has been bugged FOREVER. I don't care if i even get the grab at least let me m1. I want this addressed by a dev because it ruins a core mechanic of the game so please vote it up to be seen. I'm tired of things like this and the sound bug both with injured survivors and downed being accepted as just functions of the game. I'd be happy as ######### if you would just fix the game so it functions as intended. Thanks

They didn't, it's just bugged due to dedicated servers.

Dead Hard has also been scuffed since 2019 because they share the exact same issue- they're coded to work on P2P and currently there's a middle-man server chilling there that ######### it all up. They've confirmed to be working on both of these issues, re-coding them from the ground up- grabs and Dead Hard.

Thats good, i hope sooner then later because this is bs. I hope this isnt a case of "we heard of this issue and we are getting to it" and then they dont touch it forever. aka clown or the beginning game mechanic to diversify the game. Which they mentioned and then never touched

Yeah this bug is Bull #########. I had 3 grabs canceled the other day. And got credit for one grab. That game came down to the wire. Thanks to some timely slugging, I was able to pull it out.
But the game shouldn't be that hard. I mean , like you said, you don't even get the hit. The guy just runs over and and slams the pallet down.
He should be dying on death hook, but , no, he gets to run off .
Yeah, outplayed I guess.

The grab bug is so frustrating when you play killer. And I feel so sad for killer when it happen while im playing survivor.

Please don't talk about grabs and "outplayed" when hitboxes, latency and vpn'ers giving free phantom hits, downs, and kills.

That is just what about isms, and no one said those wernt issues. This isnt a killer v survivors issue so take that bs somewhere else

It's not killer vs survivor. It's a killer issue like grabs.
The point is the unfairness in both situations but the hitboxes are far more frequent than grabs.

Grabs are bugged on both sides. You can start the grab animation as Killer and still dont get the Grab. But you can also stand up from a Gen/stop the Unhook as Survivor and still get grabbed.

It goes both ways. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten grabbed jumping out of a locker with Head On when I clearly did it on time. But yeah, very frustrating.

How is that not bringing up a separate issue entirely? You deviate from the op to make it a killer v survivor issue. You are the definition of what divides this games plaerbase. I never said that those wern't issues thats just not what this is about

but what if they were tied to the same issue, and fixing one actually fixed the other? in that instance, they would indeed be the same issue, hitboxes, latency, timing, it most likely is a latency thing, which is likely what is causing the issues on the survivor side too, so fixing one will fix the other, we just need to get the devs to see a quality of life change will be foregoing a dlc drop/cosmetics, to actually focus on things that are actually breaking gameplay and giving their playerbase, that funds them and buys their product, headaches while they deal with the bs, it was fine when the game first came out, but now its different, there are higher standards, its not like its that small of a team anymore

Yeah do they notice all those BS lunges killers been hitting with? Same thing - this just evens it out.
