How to fix the hook camping problem

The Killer is teleported to the other side of the map by the entity immediately after hooking a Survivor. Same concept as Pyramid Head's cages except the Killer teleports instead of the Survivor. Discourages three gens as well because the Killer can't keep in the same area all game.

Honestly, if this change happened it would naturally weaken Borrowed Time and Decisive Strike to the point where they would be largely unnecessary. The Killer would be more focused on map pressure and getting hooks than camping out kills because walking straight back to hook would be a massive waste of time.

The only problem is people not accepting the realities of the game.

Sorry, but I hate this idea.

Just imagine that you have all gens on one side of the map, all Survivors are on that side, you hook them near those Gens and all your pressure there is gone.

Also Survivors could just follow you around when carrying a Survivor, you hook 'em and you're gone, basically free save without a worry.

That makes it worse for killer. The killer would lose more control bc he would get teleported. Killer would need to slug more. It could be so easily abused from the survivors.

Yeah that would never work as it's very unfair towards the killer's ability to make free decisions. Imagine if finishing a gen teleported you to the basement. Would be equally punishing way to stop rushing gens.

You can't stop people from camping as with any "fix" people will find out workarounds to continue misusing camping to be toxic while you punish people who use camping strategically and push them away from the game.

PH is the model if they were to do something about it. Not moving the killer like OP states. They would remove hooks and the survivor goes somewhere random until saved like the cages.

Ah yes, the solution that would decimate the killer population even further increasing queue times for survivors to near infinity. Great job!

This Could be funny especially if you end up teleporting and landing right next to someone working on a gen just like pyramid heads cages, but Freddy does that and everyone complains so that doesnt work, sorry try again.

So you got a killer with no mobility who is defending a 3 gen with a survivor hooked in a middle and pretty much will win the game at this point. And your solution to this to teleport him across the map?

Imagine the end games, doors open, you down a survivor, hook them, and get teleported away while they unhook and escape without any trouble

    OMG really ?

"Discourages three gens as well because the Killer can't keep in the same area all game." So now, 3 gens is toxic ? and in the same level as facecamping ? wow
