The Idea of the new OoO is GREAT!
For real, the changes you've made (including to DS) are amazing! Should OoO be like that, it would finally be a reason for me to play more killer! Thank god no more lobby dodging, when I see there is a SWF team!
To other players: What is your opinion about the possibly new OoO?

To be honest after reading what they have offered as a change I feel it would be more fair as I gives at least the killer glimpses regularly giving it a down side.
I have given it some thought and can not offer anything I think that would be an interesting change but will think more on it.
I would like to see the devs idea tested in a ptb if no other suggestions come forward.

Personally I'd like to see it have a shorter timer (20 seconds maybe?) however it only works outside the chase, as the current description makes it seem that unlike old object, this can occur inside the TR.
Despite my proposed change, I'm extremely happy with their proposed change and I hope we get more info on it soon.

As a Trapper/Myers main, I couldn´t be happier. The salt towards the perk that I´ve gathered over the years made me wish for a more severe nerf, but in the end they chose the better route of making the perk still useful while taking away the extremely busted oppression it embodied towards some Killers. Elegantly done, I love it.

@Slashstreetboy Exactly. The Trapper but also the Hag benefit from it, but so do all the other killers such as Leatherface, Hillbilly and Huntress.
@NoOneKnowsNova Nah, I think ~30 seconds is strong enough, I mean, you can show the Aura of killers for 3 seconds, that's enough in my opinion!

I agree, I really like the direction they took with this perk, meaning that it's still on the killer side that the perk can be triggered.
I would just add an audio cue, similar to how Alert or Spine Chill works with a timer on the perk itself (to show the 3 seconds duration), to indicate to the survivor that the killer is currently reading his aura, simply because 3 seconds is quite short and you might actually miss it.
Other than that, I agree that this is a great way of balancing a perk that was clearly one of the most powerful perks of the game, despite the fact that aura reading never got really strong, here deciding of when to see the killer and when to do not see him, it was kind of gamebreaking.

Fair, I can understand the logic behind a 30 second cooldown, and it could be a bit too oppressive if it was anything shorter.
