UI proposal
There is obviously a lot of talk about the new UI in the latest update.
The positives - hook counter / character portraits (idea)
Negatives - its a strain to look at all corners of the screen when all the action is taking place in the middle. That is why most game layouts have the UI along the bottom or grouped together to keep eye movement down to a minimum. It distracts from the gameplay the more spread it is.
And while the portraits is a good idea, the images themselves don't fit with the rest of the aesthetic of the UI. They look out of place alongside the items, gens, hooks, everything. I have seen the image attached doing the rounds on some groups and I thought (and many have agreed) this looks like the ideal layout. It has the hook count and character portraits but fitting with the aesthetic to the rest of the UI.
I appreciate Behaviour are obviously trying something different and probably have big plans to do something radical with the UI - but the new current set up is simply distracting.

Dead by Daylight Team please use this.
As the creator of this thread said, it fits the aesthetic of the UI and does not cause clutter or look out of place like what it is now.
The new current one reminds me to much of a mobile game with popups everywhere, causing way to many distractions and makes it hard to see anything on the left side of the screen, which is bad for a game based on not being caught.

The only issue with this would be that the hooked counters and status (injured/downed/hooked) are a little small, but the basic concept is spot on.

I would swap survivors heads and survivors status icons.
