After 3 years, This update made the game unplayable
Me and my friends not one of those who say will quit the game cuz of a buff or nerf, But the new hud and mostly new animation made the game so unplayable rn. its not only because the animation looks weird but also it effect the chases and loops and dodges, Even the hitboxes are more broken than ever!!
Im asking if there any. tiny. slightly. chance. that you will undo the changes to the old animation and hud please? @Peanits @not_Queen
If not and your community feedback (including fog whisperers) means nothing, Then adios i guess..

Hmm, i played it yesterday, and it seemed fine to me. Thats far from unplayable.

I like how tall survivors are. It evens out the fov nerfs killer received so they can't see 10 feet in front of their nose without looking at their feet.

I have to agree. Survivor is near unplayable for me with the new animations and messed up hitboxes.

Aren't the hotboxes the same? The survivor animations within those hotboxes are all that got changed. Just gotta get uses to where it is now.

Agreed. You're killing your own game guys, come on think about it. This change was completely unnecessary and makes survivor unplayable. I and too many others will not play survivor until this is reverted.

That could be a ping issue. I've noticed more than usual rubberbanding from downed survivors.

Just because you don't suffer from the same bs that BHVR causes as the rest of the people in the community, doesn't mean people who bring it up in a place which is SUPPOSED TO BE for feedback which is ignored, are liars.
Thanks, DWolfAlpha for bringing explanations and calmly disagreeing. It is probably a ping issue, but that issue wasn't nearly as bad before the update, and it wouldn't surprise me if the new, probably unoptimized hitboxes are broken. If the hitboxes weren't changed, that means Survivors hitboxes are mostly behind where they actually are, which could also lead to this problem.

Unplayable, means can not be played, but the game is rather playable, update had issues but the game is just not as bad as everyone is making it out to be

Think about how other people feel. Their experience isn't the same as yours. You aren't the center of the universe.
For people with bad motion sickness, Survivor IS unplayable. For people with large monitors, or are on console on a big TV, the UI is a ######### pain. The hitboxes can ruin games for many people, and are infuriating. People who aren't in a zen-like state 24/7 will get mad at this and therefore make it so they can't enjoy the game.
Unplayable for you? No. Unplayable for some? Absolutely. I'm not one of these people, I can play the game just fine, but I have the empathy required to see that some aren't so fortunate.

I don't know I'm a killer main but since the Rift is out I've been playing Survivor working on some challenges and I've survived three out of four matches in Solo play you can't Juke at all so I understand that point of view but there's still plenty of Vault locations pallets and loops gens aren't exactly time consuming. As for the animations I actually like them it's what somebody would look like jogging if they got hit by a machete or any weapon for that matter. I love the fact that if you stand still you are actually standing straight up into what you would do I love the fact that you get down to heal somebody off the ground it's what you would do I have not experienced being hit from five feet away yet nor have I experienced hitting somebody five feet away not saying it's not happening just that I haven't experienced it. As for the HUD I do wish some things were in different spots but I don't 100% hundred percent hate it. However I also am not a fan of everything staying the same forever that's just boring.

Well put, me and my friends feel the same way been playing pretty regularly since early 2017 and seen some changes that didn't seem in the best interest of the community but pushed through anyway but this is just bad game development to push this seemingly untested crap through and replace a system that although had issues was 10x better than this.

It’s not a ping issue. It’s happened to mostly every one who played survivor. Look it up on YouTube. Popular streamers show proof of it more than once

The new update literally causes nausia and motion sickness for many people because of the new animations. The hitboxes are more broken than they ever have been before. One of the most overpowered loops in the game, the god bus, has been made impossible to counter. There are multiple instances of double god pallets in the new Game map. You can literally walk through the walls of the greenhouse structure in Disturbed Ward.

I had considered the idea of the hotbox being a touch behind as well. But I've noticed that the issue of the game stuttering has extended from whenever a status effect is applied to just whenever it feels like it. I still have to play survivor though since the update, too. Maybe it'll look very different, and my opinion will change.
