Does anyone actually use Left Behind

I'm leveling up Bill because i want Unbreakable, but you have to get Left Behind first and i feel like it's a very situation-specific perk.

Is it worth using it and what other perks go well with it?

If I'm doing challenges like "Escape through the hatch one time" then I'll use it, otherwise it's too situational imo.

I use it from time to time when I'm fed up with bad teammates and go for key looter build to find the hatch at the end faster.

I use it a lot in solo queues but honestly, it's a pretty alright perk. However, when I do use it , I like using it with plunderer's instinct in case I get a key (which has won me +10 games already), and I also like it with adrenaline for end game. All in all, it's an excellent solo perk, and can be a very rewarding perk when swf if you combine it with plunderer's instinct to get keys. Hope this helps!

If I’ve had a string of bad solo matches where team mate after team mate after team mate are just total screw ups, I whack on Open Handed, Visionary, Left Behind, and Wake Up, so I can just focus on doing as many gens as possible, and if I’m the last left alive i have a MUCH better chance of escaping whether I find the hatch or if the killer closes it.

I feel like it should give you some benefit throughout the game too. A perk that requires all your teammates to be dead is never going to make it into any serious competitive build.

Also the range is still terrible on detecting the hatch, and on a large map still requires you to be well positioned and lucky to even get the hatch before the killer does.

So yeah it's a pretty terrible use of a perk slot imo.

Well when the Open Handed buff goes live that’ll give Left Behind a 48m range.

If you're going for the best of the best, then it's not worth it.

But i used it every now and then, it prevents you from possibly skipping its location when searching for it.

Y'know, like you're searching on the outer parts of the map, and the Hatch is actually near you but you go past it because it's barely not on the outer part.

    Left Behind prevents that.

In short: It does well what it needs to do, which isn't much, but not nothing.

It's one of those perks you only need when you didn't bring it

I wish Left Behind didn't exist. It's only ever good for playing selfish. It encourages negative behavior like old Dying Light promoted tunneling. It should be changed again.

I have used it a few times due to some of the rift challenges for survivors. Sometimes you have a whole lot of survivors in matches only trying to complete challenges instead of trying to escape. If I start noticing the majority of survivors aren't even attempting to escape it's likely I'll equip left behind for a few days so I at least have a chance to escape when others aren't trying to do so.

I think it's pretty fun to use, so I run it when I'm not using a super optimal build

A idea I had to make it more useful was making you silent while slugged. Basically turning that bug into a addition to this perk.

I use it very occasionally, it doesn't activate in most games, but when it does, it'll save your life. I wish it was a bit less situational, though. It's a pretty fun perk to use, but it takes up a slot for nothing 90% of the time.

Like the others said, it's deeply situational. But I'm bias against late game perks in general - I'd rather pick something I can use during the match, over something that triggers / is used in end game. Gotta get that far to use it after all.

Appraisal, Plunderer’s, Left Behind can be a godlike combo, but I don’t use that build often because I don’t always make escape the highest priority. Still, it has saved me many times when I’m teamed with dominos.
