The Cannibal... Help?
I want to play as The Cannibal, but I'm not very good with him. What are his strengths? What are his weaknesses, and how do I play around them? What perk build should I use?

This is probably my favorite build on him. Corrupt Pop is the killer meta.
His main weakness is windows, so bamboozle is an obvious choice.
Monitor is good for closing the gap and finding people.
Other good perks would be Infectious Fright, Whispers, Agitation.
You should basically be chainsawing around almost every loop. There’s not much reason to M1 unless they are about to vault a window.
Best addons are the chili. I like the recharge one as well.

Insidious

The best possible tip a budding Bubba main can get is back-revving. Most if not all of yoyr downs should be chainsaw, and the best way to do this is definitely to get right up against your chase's back before you start revving.

this is bad advice imo. old bubba ya, new bubba no.
use it close to them obviously, but don't try to hug their back to get them, you can definitely do it sooner, especially with good addons.

This is a good build but I would suggest discordance over M&A, to catch them in groups.
@op:
He's good at downing multiple survivors when they bunch up, and can move a good bit faster than survivors when using his chainsaw. Can pre-rev to bait a pallet drop and get a faster break. When using the power, use your chainsaw charges when the bar reaches the charge number (aka right when the power is about to end)

tinkerer to get lot of value out of his m2 (insta) corrupt + pop to have gen defense and early map control then the 4th one can be bbq to get aura reading and also points or bamboozle wich is good but buba can still force survivors to drop pallets very early if u catch them properly on the loop.

I like monitor better because you get so much extra distance with the lower terror radius. If people start running away at 30~ meters it takes forever to catch up. Especially on hold W maps like Midwich.
And it means you don’t need to bring in a tracking perk. I really don’t like going into games as a 32m killer without something like whispers because you can get stealthed on super hard.
Discordance alone isn’t reliable, tinkerer can tell you way too late.
I would never take off bamboozle because going against really good survivors without it is miserable. You will be an M1 killer at strong tiles like the shack / jungle gyms / etc where with bamboozle you just instantly force the pallet drop and chainsaw it.
Sometimes I dump pop for something else but pop lets you play a lot “nicer” in my opinion.
