Every Killer after checking youtube
I love when 3 or more content creators put out a video with same topic. Every killer has to copy the build.
95% of games now use Devour Hope. It is like all these killers didn't know what to do after losing Ruin/Undying and Youtube was like "what about Undying/Devour hope". haha. hilarious/predictable/pathetic

Goes the same for survivors as well. Meta build survivor blah blah. But, to be honest, surv's should include kindred more often. Give SO much information, especially if the killer is a camper, you know just to do gens.

Nah it sounds pretty terrible on all but the strongest killers, who can afford to be down 2 perk slots the entire game regularly.
Maybe with a map offering it would be OK, but even then I’d probably just do devour stand-alone instead of gambling the whole game on it working.

It would work though. When I play survivor, I can tell you...NO ONE bothers with totems or looking for them. Though, after game rants about devour and noed ... are amusing

This just isn't true. It happens but I have also played several matches in a row where both are busted in 20sec.

Devour Hope is a way to throw away a perk slot 30 seconds into the game.

I haven't seen a single Devour Hope + Undying combo today.
I did see one killer run just Devour Hope.
People were talking about this combo the minute the change was posted and it's not likely to reach ruin+undying levels of use, because undying and devour hope both do nothing in the immediate start of the game and if both get cleansed you now only have 2 perks remaining.

I mean I am running ruin undying it's still pretty good it just doesn't last all game anymore. It often does it's job for early game though.
It's weaker than Pop / corrupt now on most killers however; but a solid option on like billy, oni, and high travel killers.
Devour Hope and Undying was obviously going to be made more popular because they literally buffed undying's use with that pretty much specifically; so no duh people were going to run it- the streamers are just doing what everyone else said they were going to do, not the other way around.
The only thing pathetic is this attempt to somehow find something new to complain at killers over.

Dunno about anyone else, but I just run my normal build pre prior ruin/undying and I'm a clown main. Shadowborn/Corrupt/STBF/BBQ. I always felt like ruin and undying was a cheap way to get easy wins. Killers who actually are good at the game most of the time never ran it, but a lot of weak players did run undying/ruin. DH/UD isn't really cheap either since it's not that hard to find totems most of the time.

Since the patch came out I only encountered one killer doing Undying/Devour. Everyone else is running Pop/Ruin/CI/BBQ and the usual.
The meat in my region isn't copying the nonsense of YouTube influencers, thankfully.

Devour Hope + Ruin is more common than Devour/Undying.

People have been talking about devour undying the second it was revealed it kept the stacks.
You would have seen it a ton even if there weren't youtube video's off it. Atleast we change our meta once in a while.

Yes because the devs clearly never stated themselves that, if the first Hex totem gets destroyed, you would keep your tokens making it perfect for Devour. What would those poor killers do without the content creators...

I use DH a lot its a great perk made even greater by the new synergy with undying. I've been looking forward to the release since they anounced it.
It's been a blatantly obvious synergy that was pointed out by the devs in the patch notes weeks before release.
The thing that is most funny to me, is that you somehow missed this and attribute its newfound commonality to dumbfounded killers clawing for a solution to the ruin nerf from gaming videos...
Then you say its hilarious/predictable/pathetic which is a point as stupid as it is thoughtless.
I'm not sure what your endgame was here other than anouncing to the world your an idiot who missed the obvious from the patch notes.

no really, soon as I read the undying changes first thing I thought of was devour, not really like it takes a youtuber telling you to see the potential there, kinda more pathetic thinking it takes a youtuber for someone to put two and two together.

Kindred is one of the most underrated perk in this game, even in a swf it's super strong for the simple fact you can see something better than someone trying to explain and miscommunication can get you killed sometimes if the killer plays like you're telling each other everything and does things to confuse what you might tell someone
example: killer hooks you in jungle gym and heads a direction going on the other side of the wall, you tell your teammate he's heading in that direction when really sometimes they could be going a different way and playing off of the possibility you're communicating so they fake a direction until you can't see them and go for the real target, but with kindred you can pretty much guarantee you know whos about to get chased next and who needs to go for the safe unhook and who needs to stick to gens

I ran that build a few times, but came up with the idea on my own, because it was obviously a good combo. In practice I get a whopping one mori out of it before both totems are cleansed.

Undying/Devour is dumb, just like putting Undying with anything now.
If you're going to waste a 2nd perk on a hex, then put on a Hex that actually does something before it gets inevitably cleansed. Undying has literally no purpose, so anyone running Undying/Devour is a sheep

Basically this. Haunted Ground does a better job guarding your Hex totems than Undying now.

To be honest, the only real modification I would add, is I have seen a Massive Increase in Bubba players since the patch, but that is 100% due to hit validation being so sad, the Bubba can kill everyone in his line of sight, so its mega easy mode due to buggy patch.
our SWF just disco's every game against bubba now, as its just not worth our time.
