When I entered Dead By Daylight on this evening, this occurs to me. I've been like 20 mins with this and it doesn't install...

I'd suggest restarting Steam to see if that forces it to install

It might take a little while to complete...mine took around 10 minutes once it reached the end of the last screenshot you showed. So I would wait a little while, I shouldn't think you would need to reinstall.
