"Fighting" is what I've gotten, but it's used as a form of encouragement to tell people to keep going.

This is strange, well can we at least see a video or teaser?

Pronounced "pie-ting" I assume? Is the new survivor going to be a professional gamer of sorts?
2 -
you know as much as i do. im posting everything we've got so far lol
2 -
It could be a hacker or modder too
3 -
Yeah but I hate FNAF, if they put that into the game It will truly make DBD a kids game and the community is going to get even worse then it already is.
4 -
My son plays it and he's 9 so that logic is flawed , asking for FNAF in dbd is about like asking for the guy from hello neighbor to be killer it's just not scary and has a completely different feel to it that makes it seem more child friendly
3 -
I don't even like FNAF tbh but I want them to add some fnaf something to the game, if only to try and drive so much of the awful folks that you can see in this thread alone away from the game.
Make the community better like overnight I imagine.
I doubt it will ever happen though, tbh I don't expect any more licensed chapters at all really.

Remember the firs deathslinger teaser, with the chain on the ground? When everyone thought that was pinhead? Was that vague?
0 -
yea no hate to anyone for what they like, but I thought everyone knew it was like a kid's horror game? No shame if you're older and like it, but its all just jump scares. And like the graphics are fine for kids, nothing gruesome. Its weird to think that people associate anything scary with adult or mature?
4 -
Children play dbd :) and fnaf 1 - 4 were the most horrifying it was the games onwards which make it look childish. The lore of the whole series is disturbing look at my link if you dont believe me!

I still saw more Candyman then Pyramid Head from most people.

Couldn't they pick a better killer to put in the game? Seriously, or maybe pause on new characters and make some new maps? Why FNAF is beyond me ive played it's stupid and quite frankly a let down Idk why everyone is so hyped on it. *due to a personal message* Im not trying to snide or rude I just merely never hit the hype to be honest i mean i didn't think Resident Evil 7 Biohazard was good either

Kids say the darndest things.

Zesty are your arms tired from moving the goalposts so many times?
3 -
Look deep into the middle letter of the cup, zoom in if you have to. Do you see the eye looking back at you?

holy badword it's candyman
4 -
This thread aged like milk in a matter of 2 hours. Well done kid.
Thank god is not gonna be Fnaf.
8 -
Kinda?
0 -
I wish we got FNAF, but this is a confirmed Original Chapter.
2 -
Still almost 100% sure it's fnaf?
5 -
FNAF's peripheral demographic is 9-12 year olds.
If they put FNAF into DBD, a thousand kids would end up getting this game.
Children. In this community. Not adults and edgy teens acting like children, but actual, real, impressionable youths. Playing with characters like The Hag, Freddy Krueger, The Clown, and Nea Karlson.
It would be awesome to have FNAF in this game, but we need to think of the greater good here.
3 -
yeah but nobody would have said
"I think the next killer will feature a main killer, and a 'minion' that you can release and make it run around to down survivors or perhaps to latch on to a survivor and causing various status effects. The little one will be called Victor."

I'm going to make this as simple as I can
It ain't

I feel bad for OP, literally got bullied to the ground for sharing their thoughts. Lotta toxic edgelords here still saying FNAF is for kids and calling OP a kid. If you don't like FNAF that's fine, but don't be edgy.

If fnaf was the one chosen that'd be pretty neat. I'm a pretty big fan of fnaf though I dunno about it. One of the game creators was on board actually a bit ago when they were asked about fnaf being in it and the ither game creator said no cause he thought of fnaf as a kids game. I think this was all said back in like 2019? So the other game creator may have changed his mind or maybe the team outvoted him in wanting to do fnaf.
1 -
yea like they no kids playing this game already.🙄
1 -
Yeah I kinda got this hate when I shared my thoughts on the subject. But I just shrugged it off, I'm okay with people not wanting it in the game but this level, of hate is just... surprising, I get people were annoyed about it then but that doesn't mean you get to bully it to the ground.
5 -
Yeah no worries man, don't let these rascals stop you from enjoying what they don't like. I'm glad there's someone out there that agreed with my take. 🙂

Fnaf is by definition a kid's game. It is rated 13+. And yes, children that young have played fnaf 4. As a former member of that community, I can say without a doubt that fnaf is not scary, and is absolutely directed at a younger audience. Not only would it bring literal children to a game intended for a strictly adult demographic, a fnaf character as a killer just wouldn't be good. It's not scary, it's not interesting, the lore is shallow, and a good 80% of the community are very much against it from what I've heard. The only people it will please are kids who are way too young to be playing dead by daylight who are fans of fnaf. If I remember correctly, you need to be 18 just to access dbd's website, much less the game - which is obviously extremely violent, and it would traumatize the little kids rushing to it because they wanted to play their favorite fnaf character.
5 -
Yeah, cause 1 year changes everything
4 -
*Me a 21-year old that likes fnaf content*
Purple man kiddie killer.

As long as the Killer is not some kind of K-pop singer I will ok with It

"UWU"
5 -
Why the uwu though. Also it may be fnaf seeing how everything adds up but the costume he posted this morning didnt look like something id see in fnaf

Children are under the age of 13 so 12 and under they said 18 in a few months making them a teenager[17 in america] and in my country 16 is considered adult how in america its 18. Just depends on where they live
0 -
But they're still immature kids at the end of the day. 18 is barely any life experience at all.
4 -
Can join the army to potentially kill some insurgents but isn't old enough to drink or smoke.
So strange, lol.

These are
not the
same
1 -
not true there going to do a face reveal they could have a Freddy fazbear head

Late to this thread, but I just don't see it happening. Look at the other Licenses DBD has gotten: Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, Texas Chainsaw Massacre. All of them are by far more iconic and in a different league than FNAF.
Frankly, FNAF got lucky by going viral and capitalized on YouTuber reaction videos. Not to mention it was meant for kids. Keep those silly Chuck E. Cheese robots away from DBD, please.
5 -
I'm with you on that I'm in my mid 20s and in general do not feel like an adult.
1 -
Screw FNAF and its annoying fans UwU
0 -
Okay, question. Who the ######### is the person in the outfit then? I don't recall seeing that character in fnaf unless it's some random book character I never heard about.
0 -
Yeah, that was a pretty stupid thing to say.
0 -
Saying that only kids play FNAF or that it's the majority is a ridiculous statement. Do you even know how many adult FNAF channels are there on YouTube?
Kids that played the first game have already grown up but still love the game and YouTubers that played the games say they liked it and that is the reason these content creators play FNAF fan games, because they want to play something that was made so the players can enjoy the same experience but in a game made by fans.
0 -
Just because kids play it, doesn't mean it's a kids game. Look at GTA V for example, more than half of the lobbies are lil squeakers.
2 -
To be fair, there was 0 evidence that the last two were the werewolf or wendigo.
BHVR aren't "notorious" for putting out misleading teasers. If anything the community is notorious for jumping to conclusion. People incorrectly decided the blight was a werewolf from the change animation in the teaser and the wendigo conclusion came from the sound victor.
These weren't misleading people just guessed wrong.
2 -
Lets be clear doe fnaf is only a high chance because fnaf like movies are blowing up
And let's be honest out of willy's wonderland and fnaf which is cheaper license wise.
Also if willy's wonderland did come, due to my thesis of "Nicolas cage ruins everything" I would only see new surv as nicolas cage.. Ruining my dbd experience and would have to leave.

FNAF is targeted towards kids. The books are published by a children's book publisher (scholastic), sold at elementary school book fairs and in children's (not teen) section of book shops. They sell merchandise targeted towards kids like bedsheets, birthday party supplies, and school supplies. While there are fans that have grown up fnaf is still bringing in plenty of new fans that are kids since they are targeted towards kids. I mean, even in your argument "kids that played the first game have now grown up" - every time someone is arguing it's not a kids game they say it's game from their CHILDhood or that the KIDS that played first game have grown up. 😂
Adults can enjoy things that are made for kids, especially things they enjoyed while as a kid. I still watch Animaniacs and at cons I see more adults in line to meet the voice actors than kids, doesn't make Animaniacs an adult show because the original fans are older. I enjoy Scooby Doo, it'd fit into DBD as much as FNAF, doesn't make it an adult show.
GTA is targeted towards adults, FNAF is targeted towards kids (see above). There's also kids already playing DBD, there would just be more if a franchise targeted towards kids was added.
