I was 13 when the original FNaF 4 Came out and I can assure you I had no nightmares. I'm 19 now and I have played every FNaF game and completed all of them (Not the 20/20 modes) not counting UCN. Honestly if I remember anything I used to find FNaF's jumpscares more funny rather than terrifying. Them jump scares are good for a quick scare but they could not give you nightmares.

Best cartoon of the 2010s was Gravity Falls and that was a kids show and hell that had references to Rick & Morty in it which is definitely an adult show. Some things meant for kids can have a lot of depth and be enjoyed by adults ask anyone that watches cartoons.

It's a good theory and I would like it to be FNAF since it was one of my favourite games a few years ago, but its unlikely, with what Scott has said and what some of the developers at BHVR think of FNAF, plus there have been leaks saying the killer will cost shards and cells, and only original killers cost shards, so unfortunately it doesn't look like a licensed FNAF chapter

I highly doubt it'll be a FNAF inspired game, although it's a big franchise, I wouldn't have any clue as to what they would do with the power, and there aren't really any survivors to take from the FNAF series as it's mostly first-person.
I and a lot of others thing the next branded dlc will have to Resident Evil. It's what a lot of people want, and the Silent Hill dlc was proof they listen to the community when it comes to new killers.
I'm not saying you're wrong, but it's highly unlikely.

I don't get why people call FNAF a kids game, last thing I checked Child Murder is something that most people wouldn't want their child to know. Before you say "loads of kids play the game" sometimes we (yes both killers and survivors) act like survivor. Have you seen the End game chat/PS Messages/Xbox DM's.
Switch are lucky in that case.

While I understand where you're coming from, FNAF's early games & franchise in general did not start out with the target audience being children, but instead was eventually catered towards them simply because they made up more than half of the playerbase after YouTubers & such glorified it.
Do I think it's dominated by children as of today? Definitely. Doesn't take away from the fact that it wasn't originally intended to be though.

Just because children play it doesn't mean it's for kids. If a kid watches R movies and enjoys it, was the movie created for children? No.

I've already, multiple times in the post, explained how they target kids and how it isn't just because kids play the game. If you scroll up like 10 comments from your own you'll see one of those explanations. 😁

Not all. Ive met a lot of 18 year olds that live by themselves have a kid and girlfriend/boyfriend with enough life experience to know ######### they're doing. Ive also seen some that were immature because they couldnt help it. A lot of 18 year olds are children of divorce and were unable to experience their childhood to the fullest. So yes there are some immature 18 year olds but theres also mature ones so id have to disagree with the "they're still immature kids"

I think they oughta seek a Willy license instead of FNAF though imagine how good an indoor map that would make fun fun fun
I'd actually start playing again for a map and killer like this... the skins could be the different animatronics lol
